Hey guys! I'm making the Friendship's life ring buoy for our pool / patio and wanted some feedback on design and implementation. My concept is to have the life ring that could be or could have been used on the actual Disney ships. I don't see any labeled I through VIII to match the ships names, but I could add that.
I have the ring on order. WalMart of all places ended up being the cheapest. 20" is probably slightly smaller than what they use, but it will fit my location better. I actually don't want a life ring for the pool, but if I'm going to have it, I want it to be a working safety device, plus a real one would be more authentic.

The lettering I'm unsure of. I may need to order a custom vinyl. I could not find the Times Roman font in the ready made packs yet. Alternatively, I could stencil, but I'm unsure of the paint to use.
The other interesting thing is Disney has part of the lettering on the nylon straps, as only Disney would. For this, I could use Sharpie. But I suspect that is not what Disney did. It's hard to tell, but I don't think that's vinyl graphics either.
