Good afternoon fellow Aus-Dissers
I've invited a friend and her family to come with us on a future Disney trip but she will need a few years to save (being a single income family). I was thinking of a 2015 trip and that way we can recover from our 2013/2014 one
Okay, so what I want to know is:
What would be the cheapest time to fly from Australia? I don't need exact figures but ballpark will do. Her boys will be about 8 or 10 at the time so I'm sure she won't mind taking them out of school; mine will be be mid-teens so that might be a bit trickier but as long as it doesn't clash badly with exams I won't care.
Will our cheapest time to fly coincide with the peak tourist times in CA? Can we work it so that we can avoid the US school holidays? They'd like to do DL and I'm hoping to talk them into a cruise on DCL as well.
Do DCL normally have KSF deals outside of school holiday times? We sailed in December last time and will again for the next one, so no KSF for us on these cruises (and we book a year in advance anyway). I'm happy to go back to MR but would prefer to do Alaska even if it means flying to Vancouver.
Would there be great on-site accommodation Disney deals at that time of year?
Any hints/tips/advice/criticisms welcome.
My friend isn't on DIS (yet
) so I'd like to go well armed with info to her so she can then work on her DH
