Yes, they are beignets. There kind of like a donut without a whole with tons of powered sugar.

We stayed at POFQ last September, and oh, do those pictures take me back! That IS my most favorite WDW resort. It is so pretty there.

I've been trying to narrow down resorts and (I think) have chosen POFQ. Looking at those pictures might have sealed the deal!
