I found a list of inexpensive or free souvenirs that you can find at WDW. If you want to take a look, it's here: http://themouseforless.com/downloads/trip/Freebies.shtml

Do you have any freebies or other inexpensive ideas from around the World to share?

Here's some:

Monorail Co-Pilot Cards
All the Info You Receive at Check in
Stickers that Cast Members Hand Out Throughout the Parks

What is waking Tinkerbell? Before she flies?

I really wanted to do the tour at WL but we didnt have time last trip.

I always do the make a piece of paper at Epcot in Innvoentions. It's great in my scrapbook!

I think this involves ringing a bell or something like that to open the gift shop in Cindy's Castle. Maybe someone else who's done it could explain it.

There is also the plastic works in innoventions play a game and then make and take a plastic robot, we have done this twice. It is fun and free:goodvibes

After our DD(9) and DS(5) eat their kids meals they keep the Mickey plate to take home!;)

We did that too. Brought home 4. I love them probably more then the kids. I also saved the popcorn box and when we do a family movie I unfold the box and fill it with popcorn. It's kind of fun.

What restaurants have those reusable Mickey plates with their kids' meals?

Thanks for the info!

May I ask where you see a family movie to get a box??

I don't think that you get the popcorn boxes from family movies but just from buying popcorn in the park.

Waking Tinkerbell is something we've never managed but have tried many times. If you race to Tinkerbell's Treasures right by the castle in Fantasyland and you're the first person there, you get to "wake up Tinkerbell". All day long, Tink flies around the room but she needs to be "awakened" in the morning. I don't know exactly what it entails since we've never done it, but hopefully someone who has done it will let us know. Suz D.

OH fun! Something else to add to my list of things to do next trip.

We have an entire collection of these in a rainbow of colors! Did the CM show you how to make a Dino-bot with yours, using a "foot" as the Dino's head and neck?

Also, right now during the year of a million dreams thing, they are giving out free stuff all over the park. We went last month, and while standing in line for the carousel, they gave everyone a free silver lanyard with 2 pins on it. They even gave each of my kids one including the baby. They said that they will be doing this all year, just giving out free stuff to people here and there! I can't wait to go again!!

Where can you get free pressed pennies? I've seen the machines where you need to put in some quarters & a penny & have even gotten a few myself. But I haven't seen any free pressed penny machines.

Don't forget the free soda @ Ice Station cool (or whatever they call it now) in Epcot!
