In honour of Canadian Children’s Book Week and Franklin’s 20th anniversary, Kids Can Press is hosting a free and fun event at the Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People on November 18, 2006 at 4:30 PM.

This special event will feature a reading of Franklin’s Class Trip by the creator of Franklin, Paulette Bourgeois. As well, an artistic demonstration by Franklin’s illustrator Brenda Clark will highlight the afternoon. There will be a retrospective art exhibit of Franklin through the years, a chance to meet Franklin himself, and a sneak peak of the LKTYP’s new fall lineup called i think i can.
