Freebie Thread for the week of 01/21/2008

I'm sure it won't... one thing someone that I used to know told me was that she allowed herself one splurge meal a week. She kept it within reason (which it sounds like you did) but she let herself have whatever she wanted. That way she didn't feel so "deprived".

Good luck- let us know!

Thanks for the support gals!
see ya on next weeks thread!

I've been doing the Weight Watchers plan~on my own this time~ Plus I'm exercising a lot. Madd that's awesome that you lost 10lbs ~way to go ~ you deserve some new bathing suits. You are such an awesome person~ you give the freebie site spark! Have fun on your Vacation!!! I have some time B-4 my vaca. If I lose 2lbs a week I will be at my goal!!! I'm in trouble tonight we are going to a Japanese Steak house ~ so I'll starve my self all day until we go. I have a great zero point veggie soup I like!

Hey Angie, I started Weight Watchers too - started on New Years Eve. Are you doing the Flex or Core? I did Flex a couple of years ago, but I hated counting those points! I'm trying Core now - seems easier. I've lost 14 lbs so far.

Hi Jennifer
I am doing the flex plan however I didn't join WW officially this time. I have done the program before and had lost close to 40 lbs B-4 and became a lifetime member, but then after the last couple years the pounds creapt back up on me, so now I am doing it on my own. I'm also excersing at the local YMCA. If I can't do well with it on my own then I may decide to officially join. The WW program is a good one especially when combined with exercise. I've never tried the Core program myself. It sounds like it's really working for you. Fourteen pounds~ that GREAT!!! keep up the good work. I don't mind the points program cuz thats the one I'm most familiar with. ( i just decided to get serious last week so my first (unofficial) weigh in is today) I'm crossing my fingers
I also just joined a Lose Weight for Mickey thread here on the good ol DIS.

You should join it too.

time to get the kids ready for school and go exercise!!!:yay:
