Okay, another convert here! Finally bought my first Hydro Flask (thanks Kevin!!!) and have been amazed at how well it works. Purchased the new wide mouth style (called Standard) and think it's the cat's meow....husband wanted one so I went on the website and saw there is currently free shipping in honor of their anniversary. Don't know how long it will last -- so act now if you've wanted one (also ships out of Oregon, so no sales tax).

Thanks for the heads up on this - just ordered mine!

Perfect timing -

I meant to order one for DH last week and forgot... so thanks for the reminder. :thumbsup2 And know free shipping too - think I'll buy 2

Thanks for the info. I am trying to decide whether to add this to my list of things to buy before we leave in a couple weeks. I just paid $20 for a knock off that did not get the job done. Will the hydroflask keep milk cold in the park for 4 hours on a hot August day?

They are a great product Lisa :goodvibes

I bought the 18oz standard for collection when we arrived in Orlando. Within a few days also ordered the 24oz.

Left it with SIL to use on their last week as they were complaining that bottles of water in the backpack were getting warm later in the day.

OK, folks, my new dilemma...wide mouth or narrow? I like the 18 oz. size but looks like it only comes in narrow.

Thoughts from folks who have used them?

We have three 18 ounce narrow mouth flasks and have no trouble with them.

I particularly like this size...not too big...not too small.

We have an automatic ice maker which makes those half moon cubes and they fit easily.

My Mom drinks Gatorade and doesnt like it diluted, so we bought one of the cylinder cube makers at Target I think. These are skinny enough to even in a 12 ounce water bottle you'd buy in a store.

Hydro Flask is really a terrific product.

Thank you !!! :thumbsup2

I went over to the site and ordered our first two. (the "originals" with the hydro-flask logo on the side)

Free shipping and no sales tax... Gotta love that ! :goodvibes

I hope they are as good as everyone has been saying....

All right - you talked me into it. I just ordered one for myself and one each for my two kids to use at school. It's amazing what free shipping will encourage us to do! ;)

For those of you who have one already - does the top work well? I'm used to the flip tops so I'm uncertain about the screw off ones. Any input?

I compared prices and they seem to be cheaper on Amazon. Both have free shipping. Am I missing something?

I want the bottle that will keep my drink cold. Still not sure about size of opening. I am used to using a sippy top. Not sure I would like the scew off top. I think it would feel or taste funny to drink from the metal edge mouth. Someone please reassure me. Which bottle neck size?

Have you read the testimonials above your post?

And this thread? http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2516362

What more reassurance are you looking for?

I do not have the narrow-mouth bottle, but think I'm glad I purchased the wide-mouth because I use the water dispenser in my refrigerator door to fill the bottle, the wider mouth makes it easier for me to (1) actually hit the bottle, and (2) be able to see when the bottle is full. I think it will be easier to use when refilling with water at soda fountain beverage stations as well.

Also, just a heads up...I received an email stating they were out of all colors of the 21oz wide-mouth and expect the next shipment on 8/09. My order will be filled at that time.

I can't find the free shipping info...where is it on their site?
They don't really advertise it...

Just select what you'd like, then during "checkout" you will see the option for free shipping. (USPS Ground, I believe...) Just check that one and you are all set.

I may have to order a few more!

I've been very impressed with them. I bought two 18-ounce bottles (narrow mouth) for my boys. They've been taking them to summer camp each day. They get filled with ice water at 7:30 am & come home at 4:30 pm with ice still inside.

I was a little concerned about my boys (7 & 9) using them without the sports cap, but they're doing fine with the screw cap & have no complaints about drinking from the aluminum bottle.
