FREE photobook from snapfish.com

I created an account yesterday during the promo for the free photo book and my credit isn't showing up either. I can only assume after reading these threads that I was already signed in when I went back and hit the Oprah promotion link. The home page says I have "credit for 1 free project" and the link only takes me to make it now. Which I did yesterday. No credit is showing up in my account though. I sent a letter to customer service and I hope I can still get the credit - I was up until 1:00 a.m. last night making the thing!! :scared1: Anyone else have any luck getting a reply to issues?

i made a book last night but did not order it as I wanted DH to preview it before I ordered it. I had the credit in my account last night but not today.

Is there any way to get more than one? I'd like to make one for both sets of grandparents

You can refer a friend or family member. When they open an account, they get a credit for free prints. They could have also used the free book offer, but I think it's too late to get the coupon now.

Here's the letter I sent off to snapfish on Saturday:

Hello, I created an account yesterday during the promotion for the free photo book. I am seeing on the home page that I have a credit "for 1 free project" which I assumed was the photo book. I created one but when I check out, no credit is showing up and it is not listed in my account. Please advise. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, A. Schmizt

Today I received this:

Hi ,

Thank you for writing to us.

Hurray!:cool1:

So I just placed my order...totally easy! :cool1:

Did anyone else get the deal for 25% another copy of your book? I did, and was able to order 2 copies (one for MIL, one for Grandmother In Law) for a total of 41.27!!! This was with 4 additional pages in each book!!! This is perfect for Christmas.

Now I just have to do the same for my mother and grandmother...I wish I could somehow squeeze in another free account!!! If anyone has any luck with that...let me know!

Says 3 weeks for shipping. Now I just sit and wait!! :rolleyes1

Hey--Just wanted to report that I received my free book today via UPS. It is awesome (I ordered it last Thursday). I did one of my daughter and some of her art work from this fall. She loves it. And now I don't have to feel as guilty about throwing out a few of her projects.

I am so glad the OP posted the info, because I rarely get to watch Oprah.

Thanks again!

My thanks to the OP as well. Not only did I get a gift my husband will love, my poor college student daughter created one for a gift, as did her bf and several of her other friends. You've helped them make Christmas affordable. :cool1:

I could be wrong but I think it is 20 pages. That is how many I did and I did not get any extra charges.

Yep...I just processed one under my dh's email for his g'ma and it was 28 pages and it charged me approx. another 7.00 dollars...still the total was around 15 dollars which is not bad for a great gift! :)

I thought I'd lost my coupon, but it was there when I checked out.

I waited until the last second! What a dummy!

On the up side, it was very easy to upload and order my book. There was no slow periods like others had experienced earlier.

Finally order mine about 11 p.m. tonight (pst) I was waiting to see if I got my PP cd but wouldn't you know it UPS tried to deliver it last night around 5:30 and we weren't home. They didn't leave it and will redeliver on Monday. So I just had to complete the book with just a few pix of me. Mostly DD9 and my DM.

My DSis received one of hers (for her DD25) the other day. It's very nice. Almost as nice as the ones by Shutterfly. That's who she normally uses. But heh, for $8 (S&H)it's awesome. Only wish I had my book ready to order during the free shipping deal on the 19th. But, I was waiting for my PP cd. :confused3

Thanks to the disboarder who first posted about this deal. It sure generated alot of excitement. I told my DM, Dsisters, my neighbor, my sister told her neighbor, and so on.:goodvibes

I am pretty sure it was 20 pages. I added 8 extra pages so my total including shipping was aroud $13.

The free photo book was not eligible for the free shipping offer anyway. But the free book + shipping is still a great deal! And yes, the limit is 20 pages after that they are .99 a page.

If anyone else is looking for free Photo Books: www.mypublisher.com is offering a free book when you purchase a same book.

It's not such a great deal for Canadians as the shipping up here is really high. The shipping for US states is $8.99 for the first book and $3.99 for the second one.

That's what I thought as well but when I posted about the free shipping on Tues, the 18th, someone else posted that they were able to use the free shipping along with their free book. I was suprised as well since it said it couldn't be combined with any other offer. But I have no reason to doubt the other poster. I wasn't able to get my book ready in time so it didn't matter to me.

Here's the link to the thread where it was posted.

My "free" photo book came today. While I'm happy it cost less than $12 to add a few pages and for shipping, I'm less than thrilled with the quality of the finished book. I do not think it looks worthy of its $29.99 price tag. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice keepsake. I just think some of my pictures are better than the way they printed in the book.

I really like the glossy hard-cover - but my image is not centered. I don't remember if there was a place for text below, but at one time I did have the dates of our trip entered on the layout. I could have changed it, so now my photo is off-set vertically.

Maybe they were so overwhelmed and rushed to print all the orders that came in, but it just didn't pop the way I thought it would.
