free ipod with purchase of mac for students/teachers

i just wanted to let people know that apple is running a promotion right now, if you buy a new mac and ipod together at certain stores, you can get the money back from a rebate for the ipod. You must be a student or educator though.

I just did that offer last week. I got a macbook pro and a 32g ipod touch (but I had to pay $100 for it...the rebate will be for $200)!!!

Apple does this every summer. It is really a great deal and can help pay for part of the laptop. When I started grad school several years ago, I took this deal and then sold the IPod on Amazon to recoupe part of the cost of the laptop.
