If free dinning is going to begin Aug-15, can a book a holiday from Aug.11-17 and still get free dinning?

LAST question... (wow I am getting so excited for free dinning)

Is the free dinning for however long your stay is...lets say I stay for 8 night from Aug 11-19?

When you do the dining plan...

Can they put the credits all on one KTTW card in your party? Or do you have to each have your own card?

Does it matter that we are all from separate families?

All the cards are linked together. each person gets a card with all the dining credits on it. Its like a pool of credits.

If all the families are in the same party, under the same reservation, the credits are all pooled in the reservation. Each person's card has access to the credits, because it doubles as a room key, credit card, park pass, etc.

You would have to book 2 seperate ressies. One for 8/11-8/14 then a free dining ressie for 8/15-8-17

No rumor is free dining will begin on the 16th thru Oct 3rd!! But yes it is for the length of your stay!

Heads up - dining is not rumored to start on the 15th, it's rumored to start on the 16th.

No, you would not qualify for the free dining plan with the dates of August 11 - 17. You would need to have a check in date of August 16. Even if Free dining did start on August 15 and you did a split stay with the 11-14 and 15-17, you still would not qualify because you have to have a 3 night minimum for the free dining portion of the package.

You probably won't until about 2 days after they actually release the code, at least that's what they did last year. And in 2007 I never got an email at all from Disney Visa. Don't count on them for the info, it will be here on the Dis or on Mousesavers probably before anywhere else.

Sorry, but probably not. Who knows though, with the recession, maybe they will have rooms available then in previous years.

Dont be so sure in 2007 I booked on the 1st day Disney Visa code came out and in we were upgrade to SSR so that they could open up more rooms at POP for people still wanting to book. There is always hope

In '07 I couldn't get our final standard room at Pop for our grand gathering on the morning that it broke for the general public.

I was able to call back a few weeks later and check, and one had opened up.

Sometimes they add more rooms to the sale later, sometimes people cancel.
There's always a chance.

Get what you can get the first few days, and keep calling back every few weeks until you get exactly what you want.

Hoping for 4 standard rooms at Pop myself.

Yes, there is always hope, but the pp does not have a Disney Visa and since 2005 Pop Standard has always sold out first, followed by All-Star Movies Standard, then Pop Preferred, then All-Star Movies Preferred and then Port Orleans. There is always little to no availability at those resorts by the time it comes out for the general public. Not trying to be a downer, just realistic.

my best guess would be yes, depending on your dates... 8/16, maybe not... september anytime, most likely!
