So when will we know if DV card holders can call in the morning and book FD??? Or do we just give it a try tomorrow and see what happens?

I was wondering too.
In '07, I had a code in hand when I called first day of DV pre-sale.
I had to confirm it that morning, because it was gotten from the boards, but I had it.
I keep thinking we'd have it by now.

Yeah, some people get approved immediately and are given a number they can use to start buying things (aka - trips) immediately, and others need to wait to hear back, which for me took about a week or two.

I agree though, it is worth a try if it means you can book earlier.

Oh good, I was starting to worry based on the above comment about being approved immediately that I wouldn't be approved ... I have stellar credit but we did just buy a new car about 6 weeks ago so I guess my score might have taken a hit.

I am wondering the same thing. We had more info days before it was released. I hoping something pops up tonight.

hello everyone as i anxioulsy wait to see if free dinning is announced tomorrow-- along with the rest of the boards-- i have a few questions-- first of all we have done free dinning since 2006-- but ... this is the first year my mom has a disney visa-- tomorrow of all days she cannot be home to book the trip-- would i be able to use her disney visa to book our trip? She will be traveling with a friends of hers, and my DH and I will be staying in another room-- i hope i can do this!! Can i just say i am my mom? Since she would be in the travel party-- i would think it would be ok? Also--- do you think i should book my airfare tomorrow? or wait? I was checking Airtran flights from Pittsburgh today for Sept 10th- 20th-- and leaving on the 20th the rates are so high!!! we do however want the magical express option-- can we get airfare later to see if the prices change and then call disney and give them the info for the magical express??? It seems every year something goes wrong when booking LOL must be all the excitment!! please give me your opinions thanks!!!

It is 1(407) 934-7639 They may realease an 800 number just keep watching! But this number is the reg ressie number that you would oridinarily dial you have to go through prompts so you may want to start a min or two early!

You can purchase more ticket days than you have days staying, that is no problem. Some people only do a package for 7 nights, but get 10 days worth of tickets. That seems like a better option to me.

I don't think you can get the tickets that go along with a package before you check-in. (I may be mistaken...) I think that's the problem that poster is having, they won't have access to their tickets until their free dining reservation starts, so they would need separate tickets for the day(s) prior.

I don't remember if it was online for Disney Visa I want to say no but I'm not positive! If it is you will be looking for an icon that says Free dining! You will click on that and it will add the free dining for you! Last year it was a picture of goofywith a big big sandwich in his hand!

Id say go for it. Disney doesnt care who's credit card you use. With the Visa FD though as long as she is going it shouldnt be a problem

Hi , I am from pgh too!!! We always book our disney vacation before we book airfare. You can call disney an update your airline information later. And still get to use magical express.
