Ok I have been thinking about it. I have decided to continue planning my trip as usual. There is NO way Disney isnt going to offer some kind of good promo for the fall. Sept is hurricane season, kisd are back in school. They want to get people there they will offer a promo. (Im trying to be positive here please dont rain on my parade)
Every year I have gone in Sept. it has been empty(except for the resturants) I have rarely waited for rides. If they dont offer anything I will change my plans a little(like move my trip to October) Maybe they have spoiled me with free dining but if I dont get some kind of discount for Sept. I will go a different month, and possibly stay offsite(old school, like we used to do).
Just my thoughts for today, my feelings will probably change tomorow (or in an hour)

I agree Beachgrl! We have our trip planned and paid for in September. If a promo comes our way, then WOOHOO! If not, we are still going!

I just can't imagine a whole lot of people going duing the hottest, rainiest, hurricane ridden season, if there is no promo. Except for me of course, cause I have no choice but to go then, discount or no discount.

You have to ADD the 505 to the 1286 and then Divide by the 505..

We got a post card pin in the mail yesterday for QSFD!! It ends Aug 14th Seriously 2 QSFD pins that I can't use. We're going Aug 22nd-30th.. I'm really hoping something comes out soon.. Disney is toying with my emotions again

I have two kids that would fall into the range for the new promo, but it definitely does not work out to be a better deal for us. We have our GAD vouchers for one day ticket and are only planning to buy one more as part of a package for, hopefully, free dining. We are also planning to visit WWOHP and possibly a water park and that's it. This is kind of a bonus vacation for us since we are doing a big trip out West this summer. If no free dining we will probably still go and just stay offsite.

Lots of people have Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc that fall during the hot, rainey, hurricane season and they want to celebrate by going to WDW...discount or no discount. I know we did one year my DS B-day is Aug 21.

I got a pin code in the mail yesterday for free dining for dates this summer through Aug 15th. It is only for quick service dining plan for both value and moderate stays. We are booked for free dining Aug 15th from last year. We upgraded to deluxe dining. This is my son's last year on the kids plan. He actually enjoys the dining experience as much as the parks!

We are going in Aug for my DS birthday (Actual B-Day JULy). We can't go that month due to my DD sports. So we are celebrating later.

I guess and it's only a guess.. is that whatever comes next will be coming last week of April or the first week of May..

Just a guess.. nobody really knows and those what do know =-> they ALSO know if they talk they can be 'let go'..

I am pretty sure, also, that not all promotions get offered to Disney Visa members first. Some just get offered to the general public to start with and others may be sent as a pin to certain Disney Visa members but not all of them a little ahead of time.

Just called to pay off last of my vacation. Casually asked if a pin code was attached to my name and there was. QS dining up until Aug 14th. We arrive at Disney on the 24th, so it is useless to my family. None the less from what I have been reading on several boards the only thing being offered is the QS plan. All this free QS dining makes me believe that if and when they offer any freebies this year it will be the QS plan. Ive already booked and paid for a mod resort so I am beginning to suspect only the deluxe resorts will be offered the reg. dining plan for free.

Hey guys! I am getting so impatient and I know we still have a few weeks to hear any new deals! I wish they would just come out! I want to book my vaca Aug 24th to th 30th but I am trying to hold out for the deals!! I think half the fun is getting excited and making count downs and all that good stuff but I have to wait! Here's to hoping sprinkles some magic dust on all of us and brings us some AWESOME deals! SOOOOOOOON!

I realize that Disney is concentrating on Summer, but they are gonna cut it close on fall reservations.

I booked back in Feb. (I know it's taboo) and pay as I go. I haven't made a payment in over a month. BECAUSE I want to know what my final payment will be. I am going with or without FD... but getting some kind of discount would really help with the cost...
We also have to save up on getting there and it may mean eating pb&j on the drive down... or actual food!!!

I am beginning to wonder if ANY promo for the fall will be released before my final payment is due in JULY.

I have a ? for you pro's. We already have the FD because of a bounceback last year. Now, if we go this year and they offer the FD..will I be able to book 2 rooms for 2 different vacations?? Im asking because we want to return in December (we are staying in Sept) and we also want to secure the rooms for the following Sept if its offered.
