FREE dining plan for kids in 2026 is valid for DVC point stays

This is exactly my thought. Book a studio/1 br, 2adults add 3 made up kids . Select the QS ddp.
QS would be easy to go under the radar.

----- tricks Disney had to stop ---------
Years ago (15+). When the FREE ddp came out. You could book a tent site, 10 guest. Really only have 2 guest. Now you have PLENTY of meals. OR people would book a res at camp ground for little cost but never stay at site to get free DDP.
I understand that Disney also stopped the current DAS program because of all the ineligible users and something about people charging visitors to and using DAS as way to get people on rides. So Disney could stop this too.

Years ago WDW had a “junior” ticket for ages 12-17, with child 3-11. It’s been a long time so I highly doubt they will ever return to that structure.

Given how much $$$ Disney has, there must be a financial reason not to do it. For me, it's lost revenue as I am willing to consider it but not at full face value.

My understanding have always been that only the big eaters and Disney benefits from the DDP.

It’s not that I haven’t purchased the DDP myself but boy that’s many years ago. I could see myself doing it again but only if I have a split stay for 1 night at one resort and then moving on to the next for more nights. For the last couple of years we have instead gotten a club level room at AKV for 1 or 2 nights it’s the same without being the same. We can eat and drink all that we want and only pay 23-30 points for a night.
