August 28/05 - Breakfast - POP food court - We shared 2 chocolate chip pancake platters, one with all bacon and 1 regular (with bacon and sausage), 1 orange juice, 1 milk, 2 bananas. $15.37 (13 counter service left). This was a good breakfast choice for us because it allowed us each to have 2 pancakes and some bacon each. They are very yummy!!

Lunch - Columbia Harbour House - We each used a counter service here. DS had a tuna sandwich and clam chowder and DH and I had chicken fingers and fries, we all had apple pies for dessert, 2 sprites and 1 milk. $38.78 (10 counter services left). Very yummy chowder here and good chicken fingers. The apple pies were okay too. We have found that you can't really go wrong with chicken fingers anywhere we have eaten them at WDW counter service. They're pretty good and filling and you get 3 good size fingers. They work well for sharing.

We used 2 snacks for 2 Mickey ice cream bars here too (18 snacks left). We really have to use these!!

Dinner - Cinderella's Royal Table - Our first time here for dinner and it was lovely. We waited 15 minutes or so for a table, but Cinderella was there for a little while for pictures if you wanted (DS didn't needless to say, at 10 he's "too old for Princesses, Mom!!"). But we watched everyone else getting their photos. We were seated in the main area of the restaurant, but not at a window, but that was okay because with the humidity there was a lot of condensation on the windows and it was hard to see out anyway. DS had a caesar salad, DH had a seafood eggroll and I had the best cream of mushroom soup I had ever had in my life!! We all had the Prime Rib which was a ton of meat, very tender and delicious, but way too much beef for one person to eat even with a Queen cut!! We all tried our best to eat as much as we could though. We shared 2 Cinderella's slipper desserts and DH had a cappuccino and I had a Tea. $140.32 (6 TS left). We didn't watch Wishes from inside the castle but our dinner ended perfectly about 10 minutes before it started and we were able to watch it from right in front of the castle. It was perfect. We would definately eat dinner at CRT again. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. It was a great experience.

August 29/05 - Breakfast - same as yesterday except 1 apple juice and 1 chocolate milk. $18.37 (8 CS left).

Lunch - Backlot Express - 1 Quick Counter Service to share as we have early ADR's at Sci-Fi. We all shared Chicken Strip and fries, a large sprite and a chocolate cake. $12.87 (7 CS left).

Dinner - Sci-Fi Diner - It was pouring when we checked in to dinner. It took quite a while to seat us. It is a very neat place to eat dinner and our server was great and right in character with the place. But the boards are right, you go there for the atmosphere, not the food. It is so dark, you can't see what you are eating. DS had an oreo cookie shake, a coke, onion rings, catfish with hush puppies and coleslaw and a hot fudge sundae. Tons of food for sure and the shake was delicious, but the rest was so-so, according to DS. I had a BLT soup without the lettuce which was okay, ribs which were okay, but fatty, but since I couldn't see what was fat and what was meat, I ate more fat than I normally do. I asked for it without fries but with potato, so I got scallopped potatoes, but they still gave me the fries on my plate, so everything was all crammed together!! I had a chocolate shake (yummy) and a glass of milk and cheese cake for dessert. They put caramel corn and M & M's on the plate with the cheesecake which is an interesting if very sweet combination. DH had a chocolate shake, coffee, salad, shrimp penne pasta and a cheesecake also. He didn't like his dinner at all except for the atmosphere. We decided that if we did Sci-Fi again, Burgers and fries all around, just like the DIS suggest (3 TS left). $115.25

August 30/05 - Breakfast - same as yesterday

Lunch - Lottawatta Lodge - DH had a cheeseburger, fries and a cookie, and a water. I had a hot dog and fries and a cookie and DS and I shared a sprite and he had a chicken wrap and a cookie and a frozen lemonade (hard to eat and very tart). Approx $35 (2 CS left). Yummy cookies, but everything else mediocre.

Dinner - Concourse Steakhouse - DH had honey wings, a raspberry smoothie, a filet mignon and a cheesecake. DS had shellfish bisque, a vanilla milkshake, chicken, and a cheesecake. I had shellfish bisque, sirloin steak, milk and a creme brulee. I had to send my steak back as it wasn't well done and I didn't get it back until DH was done and DS was almost done his dinner. I only ended up eating 1/2 of it as I felt funny eating it when they were done. It was okay, but again not as good as Le Cellier! $136.80. The bisque was nice and the desserts were very good. It was a restaurant that I hadn't seen very many reviews of and other than my steak it was a nice dinner.

August 31/05 - New check-in on the dining plan so all new CS and TS to go with!! Breakfast - Used our last 2 CS from old room key for regular breakfast and used up our last snacks too (some Nesteas and chips).

Lunch - Electric Umbrella - We all shared 2 counter services. Turkey Wrap with slaw, Chicken strips with fries, 2 cheesecakes, 2 cokes ($27.71) (7 CS left).

Dinner - Le Cellier again - Unfortunately things have changed with the dining plan. No more smoothies and I had to argue to get a milk instead of a soda included. With my diabetes I can't drink regular pop and I can't drink diet pop unless it has Splenda (due to my migraines) and they don't serve that at WDW so I have to drink milk. Our server was able to argue my case with the manager and I was able to have milk instead of soda so that was good. We found that the steaks were smaller too, but not sure if that the cut of steak had changed or the presentation was different or what. We all had the surf and turf again and my lobster tail came out and it was cold, but once we had it all together it was still the best steak and lobster we have had on the plan. DS and I both had the cheese soup and DH had the grilled beef tenderloin. We shared the dessert sampler again and DS had the chocolate mousse again. $193.36 (6 TS left). DH had some wine with dinner $11.66 paid out of pocket of course.

Snacks - 1 popcorn and 2 pops for Illuminations - Dining plan machine wasn't working so we didn't use any snacks tonight!! It is even hard to use the snacks when you try to use them!

Thanks for your reviews!

I am almost happy to hear that Le Cellier is serving beef on the smaller side. This dining plan just seems like tons of food. I LOVE food but I don't like feeling stuffed!

P.S. We'll sticking with burgers and fries at Sci-FI!!!
