Curious. If say....my mother got a free dining pin. We booked a room with her name on the reservation along with my family to get the offer. Then last minute she had to cancel would free dining be lost for all?

PIN numbers are non-transferable. I would call to check. And you do have to have an ID to check in.

Could you get away with it! Maybe. Would I chance it! Heck no.

If they check the pin recipient at check in and remove the discount you're bumped to full price.

i knew there was a benefit to my sister having my mothers name as a middle name.. ;-) and i my father's name as a middle name.

i think they would not hesitate to remove the discount.

This past January we went with a PIN my daughter had received. We booked 2 rooms with the PIN, 2 different reservation #'s (one in her name, one in mine) we did on-line check in but when we got there to pick up our packet my DGD had to go to the rr so I said that I would check us in and pick up our packets. Only 1 other family in front of us and when I got up there my DD was still in the rr. The CM would not let me check in. They required my daughter to check us in, she had to show ID and the credit card for incidentals had to be in her name (I just paid her back). I had read that they had gotten much stricter about the unique code/PIN's being used by other persons than the one it was sent to so we were prepared :thumbsup2
