Free Dining PIN Codes for Late 2010 Discussion Thread

I just got off the phone with a CM to pay on our reservation and he told me about the extension of the free DDP which happens to be for our dates of Oct 3-7....now we already have 40% off our resport W.L. and he said that all I have to do is buy the one day basic ticket / person and I can add the free DDP to my reservation and not lose the 40%....so I would call Disney and check with them what is and isnt being allowed.

I am so hoping for FD to be released to public soon.
I am also on the no pincode list.
It is very sad when you do not get Disney Mail.

I hope you are right about this, but this just sounds too good to be true. As far as I know, no one has been allowed to use more than one discount with Disney. Either you can use a bounceback discount, pincode, AAA discount, or another discount, but never have I heard of them combining discounts.

Would you mind double checking and reporting back to us? Check the original price of your stay and the difference after you add the FD. Make sure they didn't add the 40% back to your room.

yep I called back to tell them to go ahead and add the FD...cuz I wanted to ck with DH before adding it cuz normally we never use it.....she tells me that she wasnt told it had been extended! So now I have to find out first if it indeed was extended cuz the last I knew it ended the 2nd of October and we arrive the 3rd but like I said it didnt matter cuz we never bother with ddp. so when I called the first time to pay on our room he said by the way the DDP has been extended and I can keep your 40%...now I wish I didnt ck with DH and had to call back because everytime you call back you get a different answer! Im tempeted to call a 3rd time...I will definitely let you all know what happens, believe me I was just as shocked to hear I could do both and I kept repeating everything he told me...why oh why cant they have in the computer who we talked to last when we call in?! This gets frustrating!

I was searching my mail history and I realized I got this:

Funny. I just called Disney and didn't have this PIN attached to my phone number. Ok, no problem.

Then, she says, there are no FD discounts going to be offered at all this year. I tell her I have seen the Snow White offer. She tells me I'm wrong!! I guess it just depends on who you get on the phone!![/QUOTE]

EXACTLY my point I was told 2 different things within an hour and a half!

HI there... (Hi Belle:wave2:)
I called and got a genericy type answer- " Have the client call and confirm the Pin code they recieve is valid". I am not too thrilled with this answer...

I will be calling Monday when some offices are open ..and dig deeper. I will post my findings.. Nothing bugs me more.. than getting incorrect info.. and getting someones hopes up to book an offer...only to have them dashed!!

Okay..sorry..I am done my rant.. :rolleyes1

If someone else finds a better answer.. please.. do post..

I called yesterday and asked them if I had a FD pin code attached to my name and he wouldnt even check for me. He was nice nough just he kept saying there are no FD pin code out for my dates. He said I had a FD pin attached to my name for may and I had the 20/30/40 pin and the monster pin. I said so no snow white pin code. He said there is no such pin code. I said I had seen it I know there is one for my dates 12/7-12/14. he said to call after next week tho that something might be available for me! WTH!! Just tell me I have somethig!!! I want FD !!!!! LOL!! Oh well only time will tell I guess! Good luck all!

Say this really does get released. If I already have a resort booked for 12/18-12/24 can I then add the FD? Surprisingly, the offer is up to the 24th. Do I book dinning now and then switch to FD if it is released? Or do I just have to wait until/if it is released to book it?

i would just wait since you'll have to call anyways to apply the discount. fingers crossed we all see snow white next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cloud9:

Just worried about rooms selling out and if I should go ahead and make a reservation then add the FD. Or, will it be for new reservations only. Not ones currently held?

I would go ahead and make a reservation because...this is what one CM told me the other day so take it for what its worth lately...but he said if I decided to call back and on the FD that they would cancel my original and rebook it, which sounds right, but with the way things are going with there is/there isnt FD extension who knows, but if you know definitely the dates you are going whether FD or not, I would book it.

Oh I thought you meant you already had a ressie. If you dont I would book a vacation ressie now with whatever you would want to pay OOP then if a deal comes out just modify it with the new discount. But call to apply the discount ASAP when it does come out. Just so you dont miss out on the resort you want. good luck!

So I had my DH and Dmom call at the same time on different phones to see if they had the FD code in there names and if FD would be coming out and both CMs told the same excuse so I'm guessing they maybe practicing this one! They both told them " Im not sure I have been on vacation the last few days so I have not heard anything" VERY odd that they got the same exact excuse! Im just sayin...........

I got the Snow White pin sometime in May so maybe that's why none of the CM no about it, maybe it's too old :confused3

I would think that would mean they had encountered it since its been a few months. /////others must have called into to use them I would think:confused3 I think they are just trained to keep mum on discounts that are not public offers. Thats what it seems like to me ! Who knows ya kno!
