Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!

Thanks! Any chance I can get a temporary card or something at a Chase Branch? I'm hoping the card comes in time but I would hate to lose out on the free dining because I don't get it in time. As I said I am staying at PORFQ and it seems like a very popular resort that runs out of it's free dining rooms rather fast. I'm going the last week in October which seems like a fairly low volume week but I would hate to chance it.

Not sure, but wouldn't hurt to try. When I applied for my DV I got in in less than a week.

I went to a chase branch and ordered mine and there was no temp card for it. I asked I just ordered mine Tues so I will let you know when it gets here. I'm anxiously checking my mail daily.

Hope someone can help me out. I just opened an account with Chase to get a Disney Debit Card. I already have a reservation at PORFQ and it's just about paid off. When I call for the free dining promo do I still need to use my card to make a down payment in order to get the promo? The problem is I don't have the card yet and I literally JUST opened the account and don't know if the card will come by the time the promo opens.

I opened up an account and received it in less than a week.

It's been covered and it appears to be incorrect. Disney doesn't give other countries offers before the US with the exception of the UK who get their own deals.

Thank Everyone! Guess it's another nail biting waiting game for me. Between the FD, the Wishes Desert Party Ressie's and now my Disney Debit Card looks like I won't have any hair by the time it's time to actually go to Disney!

I'll be stalking the phones at 6am here in the central time zone as well. I don't have to be at work till 8 so I'm hopeing that I'll have plenty of time. I've never done DDP as I'm not a fan but this trip it actually will save me money so I'm going to give it a try.

I do have a POFQ Garden view RO reservation. I'm contemplating calling and adding tickets so that I can just add FD to the reservation if they have those rooms open. Someone said that a RO cannot be upgraded to a FD package.

If not I don't mind moving to POR which is a resort I'd like to stay at. I would actually be fine in the AB section but mom can't be on an upper floor with out an elevator, so I'm debating on just requesting Magnolia or paying for a preferred and hopeing for a ground floor.

Guess I'll just see what happens and do my best.

Booking a royal room would guarantee you the mansions, and therefore an elevator...

I tried to use my Disney Visa last Saturday. The cashier gave me back the card and told me it was expired. I called Chase Saturday night and told them I had not got a new card. They said they would get one out right away. It was in my mailbox on Monday. Hopefully yours will come quickly too!

As long as you check in on a covered date, you are eligible to receive FD for up to 14 nights.

I seem to recall when I applied for mine there was an option to rush order it. I am sure it cost extra, but not sure how much. Might be too late though if it is already being processed.

Even though the December dates I wanted aren't going to be offered, I think people have been switching dates around because I was finally able to switch my September FD ressies from Caribbean Beach to POFQ after a few months of trying to find availability there. Silver lining, I guess!
