Well I was able to finally book online. Only getting a minute to come back here to post now. DH prefers Riverside but when I finally got the site to work for me again it was when I was trying CBR and Coronado so we are booked in a standard king room at Coronado, which is a resort I really like. :thumbsup2 So happy to finally be booked!
 
all systems are down for the count it seems....being told to "call back later".

FYI, for those of you waiting for your TA's who are on hold for 2-3-4 hours....if you see that what you want is available online then I would GO AHEAD AND PUT IT ON HOLD online!! If your TA comes through, you can cancel the hold. If the TA doesn't come through, you have the one you made as backup which you can then book, and then cancel your other ressie. However, if you had trip insurance on the first ressie, you will lose that $$. BUT, it might be worth losing $150 to save $1000 or whatever.

Then you would have to transfer the new ressie over to the TA if you wanted them to have it. (but don't have to)
 
Yea the website isn't working great...unless it is just telling me nothing is available. I was checking on POR for my dates with free dining. I get to all these rooms listed. They say 2 queens and pull down beds that sleep up to 4? They should sleep 5 shouldn't they?

It isn't saying the rooms are available. It has a "check availability " next to them. I clicked on it and it has my dates for August and says if I change my dates, dining is removed.

Weird.

Tried again and it says no availabilty :(
 
I just want to point out to all of you who are recommending people fire their agent because they are not hearing from them, or never using that agent again, or whatever....

When you use a TA you are not their only client! Yes, I am sure you would like them to work on your account first, but that may not happen. And they are most likely running into the same problems that everyone else is - long waits on the phone and computer problems with Disney website.

I am not an agent, but have friends who are....they work hard for their money (don't we all!) and I am sure that 99percent of them are diligently trying to get exactly what you want for your perfect Disney vacation!

Please lighten up and give them a break!

I definitely understand exactly what you are saying. But if you read all of this particular persons posts you would see what we are referring to. I'm having a nutso day trying to take care of all of my clients but am keeping them up to date. Not responding for weeks to a clients emails is inexcusable and gives all of us a bad name. But hey thanks for the support, because I get an occasional client that does think they are my ONLY one :rotfl:

I booked mine online about 2 hours ago while on a conference call. All it took was 15 min (a little patience due to the slow server) but I am all booked with the free dining. I was actually not planning on going to Disney at all this year, but decided to swing this trip since it was a great deal. My mother was going to take my daughter and only go for like a day or 2 at Disney and then seaworld. (not staying at Disney at all). But for a reasonable cost we are now going for a week! My daughter is going to be thrilled. Did the same last year too. Didn't plan on going but when they offered the free dining, it is too attractive to not go down there for a week!:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc
 
I had a friend call this morning and was told that free dining was not applicable to the BLT (she has a 1 bedroom lagoon view villa booked). She was also told that she could not use the room only discount code at the blt and add the dining plan.

I dont have time to read the 30 pages, can people tell me if anyone got the blt, and what discount they were able to apply?

Nope. I had to switch to BWV 1 bedroom but I saved $1460. No promotions available at BLT. $1400 will pay for all of our food!

I know that my TA has been working hard all morning to move us from POFQ to CSR in order to get free dining for our stay Oct.29-Nov.6 but we have not heard whether or not she has been successful yet. When I pull up my hotel reservations on the Disney Website I get this message: "One of your resort reservations needs attention". There is also this statement:"One or more guests on your reservation may have changed. Please update your guests". And my husband is no longer listed on the reservation, just me and DD13 and DD11. Does this mean that my TA is making the changes from POFQ to CSR or is something just really messed up?:confused3

I would guess that they are in the process of changing your ressie
 
So so so mad and irritated! Emailed TA and got a response that the current wait time is over four hours and she'll be working on discounts over the next day or so?!?!?!?

Our trip is Thanksgiving week!!! I am shocked its offered at all that week but now the dread of wait continues.

i have been know to be wrong but i dont see a discount or FD the week of thanksgiving on disney web page
 
Just got off the phone with CM she said they are having problems with computers and they cant do any new res cancellations or modifications at this time

You can check in as late as Nov 23 and get FD for up to 14 nights. I assume that is how she would be doing it. :goodvibes

Very helpful CM -- did room(s) only and saved $1400 for seven nights at Beach Club (700 or so a room). Had thought it would be more (turns out about 15%) but it pays for a day at Discovery Cove.

Thanks to everyone who let us know about them.
 
I just took a look at my ressie on line and it's still the same! :sad1:
I haven't heard a thing from my TA. I read on other boards of folks waiting 10 minutes or so at 7 and are all done! Why has mine been on hold for hours! OMG, this is so frustrating. IMHO, my next trip I'm doing it myself so I have the control and not left in the dark. This was my first trip so I didn't know any better.
 
Why 2 reservations? I'm going Oct.18-26 and have 1 reservation...with FD. You do not need 2 reservations! Your entire stay qualifies for FD

When I tried to book FD for my entire stay (Oct 19-25) at the Poly it showed no availability (online). After playing around with the days I discovered that the problem wasn't with the entire stay -it was just Oct 24 & Oct 25 that were causing the problem. So, I went ahead and booked the FD offer for Oct 19-23. I still need Oct 24-25; which I have booked under my original non-discounted package reservation.

I didn't call this morning --- maybe I just need to call and have FD applied to my exisiting Oct 19-25 reservation??
 
Ok...just got through in 24 minutes and thought I was golden until..... "I'm sorry ma'am, our system is going through enhancements right now and I will not be able to process any reservation requests at this time. It may be back up in an hour or so.."

REALLY?? After sitting on hold from 7:01-9:00 this morning and had to hang up to go into a meeting... and now the system is down?? UGH

Has anyone been able to get ahold of a CM in the last few minutes that has a working computer?? Should I try again?
