We're booked at the Poly right now 11/6-11/11 ; hoping to switch tomorrow to 11/14-11/19 (and be there for my 40th bday!)

Hope we all get our 1st choices tomorrow!!

I hope so as well. Before my DD went out for the day I sat her down to look at mods to determine a back up plan and she shot each and every one down. She thinks POR has to much walking to get everywhere, and she just plain hates the look of CBR and CSR. She's a crazy kid and just wants POP. Guess I will definitely be on the phone at 7:01 adding FD.

We originally booked for Sept at the Beach Club, but decided the weather was going to be way too hot for us and when we called to switch BC was unavailable the dates we picked so we chose the Poly. We picked that week beacause my ds would miss 1 less day of school w/ veterans day. Dh thinks an extra day of school off won't matter (he's just going into 1st grade), & with the crowds expected on the online calendars and the marathon that weekend- I'd really like to go the following week. And, now I got my heart set on the Poly and ds is loving the pics of the volcano pool!

I hope you get exactly what you want tomorrow, too!!

I remember the good ol days when values got the regular dining plan free- no "pay to upgrade." Now that was a deal!

I remember when I booked through AAA at a reduced rate + free dining which included appetizer and TIP= one happy camper!

I don't have one myself but I just read on a Facebook Trip page some reporting they called and were able to book CBR with FD with their DV also no POFQ or POR

We were there Oct. 26-Nov. 4 last year and had an amazing trip. We also went to the "parks to avoid" every single day of our stay. You'll be just fine.

Anyone else wish they never discovered the discounts part of DISboards?

Saving money is a good thing but I could have done without all the anxiety, countless hours following this thread, 4am alarms, and second guessing. I booked my #1 choice, then found #1 resort won't have FD, plan change, switch resorts, then found out my week doesn't have FD, plan change, stay with my #1 choice, then found out my week has RO, plan change, back to switching, come on here today and find out FD dates might be different....

I now have a plan A-Z for tomorrow at 4am(pt). I hope I get a patient CM because I have no clue what I'm going to do.

At least this is a win/win scenario. Worst case scenario I end up paying more but stick with #1 choice, best case scenario is I get #1 choice with FD, middle scenarios all save me money in some way and I haven't seen a moderate I don't think I would like.
