On disneyworld.com the only room unavailable seems to be the King Bed rooms.

Saving money is a good thing but I could have done without all the anxiety and second guessing. I booked my #1 choice, then found #1 resort won't have FD, no problem I'll just switch resorts, then found out my week doesn't have FD, no problem I'll just stay with my #1 choice, then found out my week has RO, no problem back to switching, come on here today and find out FD dates might be different....

I now have a plan A-Z for tomorrow at 4am(pt). I hope I get a patient CM because I have no clue what I'm going to do.

At least this is a win/win scenario. Worst case scenario I end up paying more but stick with #1 choice, best case scenario is I get #1 choice with FD, middle scenarios all save me money in some way and I haven't seen a moderate I don't think I would like.

Because I am a hypervigilant TA...I'll be on the phone at 7am tomorrow morning, in my PJ's so I can get my clients the FD deal!! Hoping that AOA suites is included as that is where most of them are booked. If not....I'll have to make some early morning phone calls to them. I actually get just as excited about saving my clients money as I do myself!! I have to live through them this year since we won't be going back until January 2015. We are going every 2 years so we can save up in between for a great trip.

The poster on FB now says she took a chance and called after seeing the FD offer would be available today for DV card holders and was able to book.

If I had a DV I would try a few times to see if I could get the "right" CM

I remember the good ol days when values got the regular dining plan free- no "pay to upgrade." Now that was a deal!

Or when it included appetizer and TIP!!!!

I hope so as well. Before my DD went out for the day I sat her down to look at mods to determine a back up plan and she shot each and every one down. She thinks POR has to much walking to get everywhere, and she just plain hates the look of CBR and CSR. She's a crazy kid and just wants POP. Guess I will definitely be on the phone at 7:01 adding FD.

My teen is being the same way. My DH and I are actually kind of excited to try AOA in September, but she just can't stomach anything other than POP. Looks like AOA is excluded from the FDing extension so she may get her wish LOL. I know she'll enjoy any resort, as long as we're in Disney.

I don't know how. The CM I talked to said no, in no uncertain terms, that they'd been getting calls since Monday about this. But good luck for her if they made it happen for her!

I've have been reading this off and on all day!! Im not calling in the AM but really really really excited for all of you!!! I don't think I'll get any work done tomorrow morning bc I'll be reading this lol!! I really do hope some of those days open up for FD at the resorts you want. It does seem like it's going to be really busy during October. I keep checking crowd levels to see if it's changing.

We do know that we can't trust everything we read on the internet.

Now I'm nervous.....if they don't have option A, B or C we're going to stay where we're at (using the current FDing deal at AOA). If we stay at AOA we were going to just downgrade to QSDP and add a couple of days. Do I need to add those days today though, because if plans A, B or C don't pan out....you can't add days to an expired deal, correct?

To me I would love FD (staying at ASM from Dec 4-15- My dates are set in stone -airline tickets bought, PTO approved at work- but the dates that they are saying for FD- I will miss anyway- I am hoping for different dates, FD Pin or % off room- anything would be good- but would LOVE FD! Huge savings since we are doing the DDP anyway. Hope tomorrow brings great news!

True but a couple of years ago I was new to the DIS and I saw someone post about the Discounts opening the next day, I called it was about 9pm and was able to modify my reservation so I know for a fact it can happen before the actual release

I think the cast member was confused. The poster also said he asked which pin she was calling about. That doesn't make sense either. So either she had a pin and didn't know beforehand, or he gave her the offer early bc he was confused. I hope it's the latter bc then that gives me more hope

Don't forget that Pop Warner runs 12/7 - 12/14. That is most likely why the PIN Code dates in December did not start until 12/15.

If a promo is expired but still has availability you can add days but you will need to talk to Guest Relations not a "reg" CM just ask to be transferred. You can even change resorts if the resort has availability under an expired promo

When I emailed my TA last night about the rumor going around about free dining coming out tomorrow and how certain resorts were excluded - this was her response:
"Something is definitely being released tomorrow, but the rumors going around are crazy. I have heard all kinds of different dates and different resorts that are not going to be included. This travel pixie is biding her time until it is official. I have all my files lines up and ready and will check every single reservation"....

So it is just wait and see......ugh...

I called my TA a minute ago and she said she hasn't heard anything. I felt like she was blowing me off, bc I told her it was possibly coming out on the 29th for Visa. I asked her if she was going to check or if I needed to cancel and rebook myself. She then assured me she would check first thing in the morning. Never again!
