When we were not sure if our annual trip was going to happen (due to gov't sequestration), I told DH I wasn't booking until we were for sure going. It would have been harder on me to have to cancel a trip than it would have been to just not book one in the first place. Thank goodness for FD!

I think I would have withdrawals if I didn't have one booked. I was already looking ahead to 2014 when dd tells me she's decided to have another child. Wonderful news! Another grand to love and take to Disney! But then I'm thinking no WDW in 2014. No obsessing about where to stay, getting the best ADR's. No scouring the boards for deals... Then I decided I will book for 2014 and if grand 2 is here in 2014. I'll just roll the trip to 2015. That'll give me plenty of time to get it paid for and maybe we can upgrade to deluxe. Lol. I think I need therapy.

We're going to need to start a self help thread after this. "Life after free dining" especially for those of us who aren't annual go-ers. This will be an every 4 year trip for us (with beach trips in between). But I've been obsessing over this for so long now (it's been a few years since my last trip) that idk what I'm going to do when the trip is over!!!

Ok, starting to think that I'm the only one not getting their Mickey Mail

I see all these Oct 19th people like me getting their stuff and I'm starting to feel left out! Nothing in the mail today either. DH is starting to panic. I told him he shouldn't worry it's still early (day 31) but really...when should we worry? Around what day? Guess I'm trying to be cool and not worry..while secretly worrying

Yes, it did that twice to me yesterday. Went 1/2 way through the first time and then all the way through the second time then gave ne the same message. Not sure what's up, :-(

They say packets are mailed a "few weeks" prior to your arrival date. I received mine at the 19 day mark. If using a travel agency, take into account that Disney mails them to the agency and then the agency mails them to you. Sounds like yours should be arriving in another week or so...

I did forget to mention that I believe if you purchased airline tickets through Disney, then the travel documents are mailed around the 40 day mark; I think that is why there can be such a big difference.

I know, 3 days!!! And I am freaking out!!! We are soooo mentally ready to go but not packed yet. Did "final" shopping this morning for everything; had to go to 3 stores- 24 mos. old not happy. When we were done at Walmart and putting things in car, I told him we were going home and he started clapping and yelling "Yea!"

Please call...you know we would both feel better. Friday is soooo far away! Just from my own personal experience with Disney, I waited to call and it could have been a disaster if I had waited any longer (that was regarding my free dining, not final documents).

OH! Did you book room only? Or a package? I booked mine through disney and it's a package but I booked my own airline tickets also and they told me I would get my package at the front desk of my resort when I checked in. I better call and double check. Thanks for the info

Guess what? I know that people are sick of me, but I have to vent. Exactly 2 weeks to go and still no packet from my TA. I had to call Disney directly to complain about my TA. They were nice enough to get guest relations involved and they contacted her. All of a sudden, I get an email from my TA telling me that I can pick up my packet directly tomorrow. However, she wasn't responding to me. So, I won't feel fully at ease until my packet is in my hand.
