Free Dining News (See Page 9 & 10)- Post It Here

So I did a little word play with a CM today on the phone. I called to upgrade us to a deluxe resort due to the free dining. I figured the deluxes will sell out quick when it is released and I'm not gonna miss out this year! So in upgrading us I said "so, now when you guys make the free dining announcement on April 12, I can get my reservation adjusted so we get the free dining also right?, I want to be sure my dates are included." She hapily said "Yes when the announcement is made you may call up and we will make the adjustment to your reservation". So I continued to play on saying "I heard the dates were from mid August thru September I just want to be sure". She said "you can call us and we will adjust it, there may be some restrictions on length of stay, but look like you will be fine. So there ya have it. I called today.

Smooth!! What do you think the dates will be then????

It seems odd that they would create it today... I hope it's not a belated April fools joke on us..

When I checked out the "properties" for the page, it said it was created as well as last modified today, April 05, 2007.

What made look tonight was a discussion I had earlier with a Disney travel agent. He told me to look for the link tonight on the site and wouldn't tell me what day it would be good. He did say that it would be open to ALL at the same time. It wasn't necessary to have a Disney Visa. Time will tell. Glad I was able to share this with all of you . Earlier today I had people on another thread not believe when I posted that last year with AAA I received free DDL with a room discount on a package. I got the feeling that they thought I was making it up or being dishonest and how could I tell others this ? Even a few wanted proof ???

Maybe I am going way out, but that would make the term "generic promo" in the address of the white/blank page make sense. Let's put on our and take another look at the page. hehee ok, now I know i am getting silly!

How late are they open to make a reservation over the phone?? Or will I be able to book online at 12:01 a.m. if it happens to come out? I've gone twice during free dining, but I've always booked over the phone a few days after it came out, and from what I'm hearing this year a lot more people know about the promo, so I want to book ASAP!! Plus all this waiting is about to kill me!!

planning my kids first trip this fall at same ages my bro & i were at my last trip there....

Just also a heads up. I think it was 2 years ago we were asked to do a test per booking for like kids clubs, dinners, things you normally would have to do by phone for the DCL. And so we were able to do it at 12:00am CST but some people said they couldn't get in until after 2:00am CST. So if we don't see anything at midnight tonight, that doesn't mean that we still won't see it soon!
