Free Dining is Back!!! August 13 - September 30

Is it the same as last year, I mean... can we get just a 1 say MYW ticket to be counted as the package? (we have AP's and a DDE but this may work out better).

Does this included people in England. We have booked a package through our tour operator but are staying onsite and looking to book disney tickets etc through mousesavers.com

If it is the same as last time theen you have to have the pacakge booked all with the same tour operator and many did not sell the DDP to start with (Virgin is one that does not).

However, wait till it is open to the public and then ask them, it can't do any harm. Last year a couple of ocmpnaies passed it on with the tikcets (TCD did), but you had to order it.

Will I be elegable? I booked my holiday directly with Disney and have booked a package with dining plan.

....are there any cancellation penalties??

yes, the regular Package penalties....30 days or 60 days fees, you would have to read the requirements. We had them on the last free dining package.

Oh man.

Is this a better deal than getting an AP rate? What about if we use the APs twice?

Ideas??

Beth :tink:

I just booked this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!! We had booked BC already with AAA for this time but I made a new booking with CRO...now we have saved $800!!! :cool1:

Hey Mommykids...we are booked at the BC through AAA also in September, but only for 4 nights, MYW Plus passes, no dining. Do you think I will save also, did you just call CRO and cancel the AAA package? Lot of quetions here.....Thanks!

Oh my gosh!!!!! I love you guys!!!! You have made my day!!!!

I am going to WDW!!!! I am so happy I could dance. I have a feeling I won't have a hard time getting up tuesday morning!

Thank you DIS! Thank you Mousesavers for the scoop!!! It's gonna be a great weekend!

I really never expected to see free dining again! This time, we are able to take advantage of it. I just saved over $1000 for a late August trip...WOW! :sunny:

...actually, I was concerned with calling and making ressies this morning and telling my DH [he is in upstate NY for the weekend] and letting HIM know when he gets back tomorrow. If he really doesn't want to go [he wants to go to Puerto Rico this summer] then I have to cancel, but I would be cancelling NOW, not close to the trip...

Im sure it will be cool, I am booking on tuesday as well, and i don't remember booking last year until a few weeks into the promotion too. ;)

If you remember last year they ran the promotion until Jul.3rd and then ran it again until Aug. because I don't think they got as much interest as they expected. I think, though, that so many people loved it last year that they won't have the same problem this year. However, because of the dates and so many kids already back in school a lot of families just can't take advantage of the special.

I sent the info to DH last night on his computer and he said, "What's this mean?" I said it means were going to WDW in September!" I don't think he's convinced. :confused3

we check in at the poly on the 12th and are there thru the 19th
we are staying concierge
can i apply the code to the 13th thru the 19th or do i have to move my dates?
The airfare is 300 more to move the dates and as of now all my ADRS are already made thru the planning staff there.

Youa re going to need 2 reservations with the first one being 1 night and room only. Hopefully that won't mess up your tickets and park plans.

yeah i mean i might not even bother this could mess up everything and i am not gonna dealw ith switching rooms, having to get new tickets
it would be one things if i could go down at 7am check in without moving one things
but i am sure i would need new tickets and it would be such a pain
we are on vacation i wanna relax

The offer says 5 nights 6 days. Does anyone know if you can add more days but still get the same deal??

Woohoo!!! oh wait a minute - if I'm renting points from a DVC owner, am I entitled to it?

No but perhaps you could extend your stay by a few days to take advantage of the offer! That's what I would do in your situation. Are you renting points for Sat/Sun too? If not, perhaps you could add a weekend prior to your trip, book a value or mod and get the free food but get longer MYW tickets to cover your whole stay. Kinda best of both worlds?!!
We're renting point too but not til the end of October, if they extend this deal we'll take it up for a few nights prior to our DVC stay.
