I am waiting also to see about Dining Offer...We have already book and paid for 9/18-9/24 POFQ with park hopper tickets....Will wait and see if FD is available and if we can get it...We have a 4 adult women going for this trip....

No disagreement from me. This trip is a different one for us though. We branched out long ago and started splitting our time between Disney and Universal after years of just Disney. Then we moved offsite for the Disney portion and became Universal AP holders, then we did entire Universal trips and ditched Disney all together. So while this year it may appear that I'm determined to give Disney my $5000, that isn't necessarily so. It very well may be that I move to Bonnet Creek, which then necessitates the car, drops our park days to 5 instead of 7 plus waterparks, and takes most of our meals offsite.
I do totally get what you are saying though. I am not so enamoured with Disney anymore that I'll throw money at them no matter what they do. It needs to make sense to my budget. It does make sense to them to offer me less, but I'm not adverse to not giving them anything.
If you do Bonnet Creek and have a car, won't you be able to do most your meals in the room. I thought they had full kitchens. The one time I stayed there it had a kitchen.

Oh definitely! All breakfast and a lot of lunches. We just like to go out to dinner most nights on vacation.

I totally understand that, my first visit to the mouse in the big house was Bonnet Creek. I was going for a convention and I had points a Wyndhm. Didn't use any of the ammenities, but it looked like a nice place to stay. We had a suit and it was nice to have a full kitchen and two bathrooms.

Why build a ride without upcharge when you could put in swing space for premium ticket events?
Who says the ride won't have an upcharge? Maybe that is the next step. Admission is to spend on shopping and eating. The rides will have ticket booths....maybe for the 50th celebration... people would love the nostalgia.

It's a special deal offered to guests while staying at a Disney resort. It's usually a room discount for future stays. If you stay any time through the months of August to October, the bounceback is typically free dining.
True, but I think the bounce back is for the same deal you had when you arrived. I have been on a bounce back for free dining for a few years now, the prices do go up every year because it's based off the current room rate and ticket prices, and we all know they go up every year.

The bounceback has nothing to do with your current deal. But, yes it is based on the current room rates of the dates you want to book it.

Isn't that why its called a bounce back. To me that would lead me to believe that the bounce back is bouncing back the deal you just had during your stay. So if that's not it what is it then? Because the last two times i've been at the hotel they have not had the packet for the bounce back in the room. I had to call and request one.

A bounce back is not always the same deal you booked with.

The bounceback is just a special offer for a future stay. They want you to book it before you leave. The offer varies. It has nothing to do with the price you paid on your current stay.
