I can hardly believe I am actually

When you change your dates, do you need to cancel and rebook, including re-paying your deposit, or will they simply move your dates?
We have had a Disney Visa Card for a number of years and we hardly ever get emails from them. I don't think I have ever got an email about the Disney Free Dining from them. I have always seen it on Mousesavers or Intercot first.OP, thank you for posting this! I saw it yesterday afternoon and called right away. Even though I am a Disney VISA holder, I NEVER get their emails on these promotions until days later. I always find out about them first on the disney forums online. The CM who I booked my reservation with told me, "It must have been nice to click on your email and see this special!" I said, "No, I never get the emails on time, I found out about it online." He was like, "Oh, really?"
Anyway, we are going Nov 23-30 and as a family of five, I was very lucky to get one of the AB rooms at POR (I was so afraid they would be out of these and we'd end up having to take a risk getting two value rooms that might not end up being connected). However, I am wondering, it looks like I paid a rate for garden view (he did not offer me choice, but when I price it up online, it is the same price as a garden view). Did anyone who booked an AB room get a std room, or was the garden view the only option? I was just curious if it was even a choice for anyone or if that was basically the only option. It says, "D85." Is that the code for a garden view?
We have had a Disney Visa Card for years and I have yet to receive the Chase Disney Visa free dining info email from them. Very frustrating :-(I got the email yesterday at 1:20pm, long after I already knew about it.
Hmmm... I specifically asked that question and I was told my ticket prices remained the same.I was told that the extra money was for taxes from switching from a 30% code to FD. Oh well. I guess it doesn't really matter. I am still saving more than the room code saved me, so it's all good.

Well, I feel sort of silly. After getting the 'free' dining at AoA, I decided to do the math and opted to go back to just paying OOP for our meals. We're at around $975 total for room and 3 days tickets. By getting the free quick service dining, we'd be losing our Florida resident ticket discount so the total price would be $1198 since we'd be paying full price for tickets and then upgrading to regular dining the cost increases $1342. We rarely order dessert and sometimes order appetizers as meals. I'm also sure that DD and I will share a meal.
After all that work to get it you are giving it up?!?!
It probably makes the most sense to do that, though.![]()

So is 11-9th only included for deluxe resorts? Was anyone able to book this date for values? We were hoping to do th 9th to the 16th at 2 values but on the link that was posted there was also a chart and it listed the 9th only for deluxe.
Be careful with split stays. I just got off the phone with Disney to check up on my reservation to make sure everything was set up right and was told that i couldnt pick up my park tickets any earlier than 7 AM on the day i check in for free dining. I told the person that i was told when i book that if i did room only for the first 3 days and free dining on the last 5 days i could pick up my tickets 3 days early. She said they would talk to the person who told me that and tell them you cant do that.![]()
