FREE DINING for DISNEY VISA CARD HOLDERS!!

I'm on the phone right now and am being told AoA LM rooms are included :confused:.

Okay, never mind. She pulled it up and said they aren't. I'm fortunate that a manager told me a few months ago he'd honor a promotion that came out even if it didn't include the LM rooms for me. I had received a PIN that didn't say AoA was excluded but it wasn't letting me get it.

I can't tell you how ticked I am. I was on the phone for just about an hour when the CM was going to transfer me to Guest Services to get me free dining for the LM suites but then I got disconnected. Now I'm on hold again. UGH!

**Disney CM's are horrible. There is a note in the system from Winston that states that if a promotion comes to the AoA that they will do everything in their power to assist me. Why he stated it like that, I have no idea because he said to me that if a promotion comes out at the AoA that he would honor it even if the LM rooms were not included. Since he worded it the way he did, the CM is trying to tell me that they can't honor it. I mean seriously, if a promotion did come to the AoA, and my room was included, why would he have to put a note in the system about it? Does that make any sense?

I'm not sure I understand the issue. Why were you not able to book the LM room with your PIN? Were the rooms already booked for your dates? If that was all it was, I'm not sure why they would tell you they would honor something like that because rooms sell out for people's PINs all of the time. It is just a luck of the draw type thing. Was it something else?:confused3

Maybe she had a PIN to her name and just didn't know it? That could be possible, right? We have FD w/ LM room, but we got a PIN for it. Maybe once everyone starts switching their ressies over, they'll empty out and see that they need to add LM back the equation. Sure, LM rooms are enticing, but if I didn't already have the PIN for it, there's no way Id pick LM w/ no free dining over another value or moderate w/ free dining. I'm sure there's many who feel the same way and will be switching from LM to something else.
I'd almost bet money that she had a pin code attached to her name that included the LM rooms - we are actually booked under a pin code for the LM rooms in November - because she is the ONLY person, out of hundreds and hundreds of free dining posts today, that was able to book a LM room with free dining.

No, the AoA wasn't included in the PIN offer at all apparently. It was very nice of the gentlemen to say he'd honor any promo that became available to the AoA. I didn't ask him to do this, but since he offered, they should make good on their offer. And they did. I was finally able to get it honored this evening for our LM room :). I did have to pass up Fl resident tickets, and I also upgrade to regular dining but I think we came out okay.

I would consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky. Congrats!:thumbsup2

After the horrible customer service I've experience with Disney multiple times, I do consider myself lucky. With any other company, however, I would just consider it providing customer service :rotfl:.

Logged onto the disboards too late tonight! Gonna be calling first thing in the morning or on my lunch break.

Susan

So happy! Thanks to the Disboards I changed my reservations for a 2BR villa at SSR from mid september to late october, got free dining, and now my son will get to spend his 3rd birthday with the Mouse!! So excited that we were able to go later in the year than what we had originally booked! :) Congrats to all others who benefited from this discount as well.

Has anyone tried booking FD at AKL? I have to wait for the GP offer on Thursday and am going crazy with stress that there won't be anything available. :scared:

I was told no availability at any moderates yesterday, even with a room upgrade. I called this morning and was able to upgrade to a POFQ Garden View and get free dining for both rooms I have reserved. I did have to call three times though, got disconnected once, next castmember said the system was down and the third was able to help me. Now I just have to wait for the confirmation email!

I was able (thanks to my travel agent first thing yesterday morning) to get FD at Coronado (preferred room) which is what I originally booked. Very excited.

FREE Disney Dining Plan are available for travel dates
September 30 - October 4, 2012;
October 19 - November 1, 2012;
November 9 - November 15, 2012;
November 23 - November 29, 2012 and
December 10 - December 13, 2012.

So based on this, if someone is there from Dec 7th thru the 15th.. would they qualify? For the whole trip, or how does that work? Thanks! :goodvibes

So everyone's excitement has convinced me to try and book a December trip. I have been trying to call all morning, but keep getting the Magical Enhancements message!!! I guess they are getting ready for tomorrow's 2013 rate changes.

That being said, we can't wait to get back to Disney in December!!!

You wouldn't qualify. Your check-in date would need to be on or later than the 10th. You may be able to break it up in to two separate reservations, but that could be difficult.

You would have to do a room only stay for Dec 7-10, checkout, checkin, and have a FD package for Dec 10-15. You can get the total number of park days with your FD package and pick them up on the 7th at any guest relations office at a park. You will only get your tickets early, not your dining credits. You may have to switch rooms when you checkout and back in, but they would do their best to let you stay in the same room. If you call or email Disney they will tell you that you can't get your tickets early, but it is 100% not true. The correct info is in post 15 section "I" of the ticket sticky on the Theme Parks and Strategies forum.

Yes... I have called 3 times this morning only to get through and have them tell me "magical enhancements" (= system is down). I am trying to change a Free Dining reservation at POR AB from September to December. We have never been during the holidays, so we would really love to see it decorated. Hope I can get through.

Thank you! It's not actually me who's going (I wish it was) but I'm trying to help a coworker of my husband. I will pass this info to her and let her make the decision if they want to do this or not. :thanks:

Has anyone gotten their confirmation email?

I got one last night and another one this morning.

The one this morning says this:

total cost 2428
total paid 2001 (i did orig pay this but then was refunded 283 for 30% off)
total due 710

I wonder if I can convince them I only owe 427? lol
