Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

If you currently have room would you try to change it or book new res all together and cancel old one.
I have such issues when they tried to modify it last year.

If you only have a room booked, you will have to cancel that anyway. If you don't have a Disney Visa, just book the FD package online and cancel the other reservation online (if you have that option). If you do have the DV, you have to call to book anyway, so no need to call twice.

I had the same thing happen about a week ago. I refreshed and checked back 20 mins later and had my pick of all the resorts. What dates were you looking at?

I was looking around Halloween for 7 nights. I called Disney to confirm and they confirmed my fears.

We don't have a Disney Visa so at least I don't have to worry about that.

My plan is when the deal is released to the GP I will start dialing the phone to attempted to switch my current resort reservation around but I will also be trying to book a new reservation online. I won't modify my original reservation around on that day because I know on a typical day MDE is wonky, I imagine it will only be worse on a deal release day. If I am able to get a new reservation booked with free dining I will cancel my original trip. Or if I get through on the phone I will have them do the legwork.

Yes, I know I have to call as I am DV card holder however I would like to just make a brand new res based on the dates and cancel the one I have online later. Will it allow me to hold two reservations in my name at once?

I think people are calling and booking in anticipation of FD release. I called the reservation line this morning and was on hold for 20 mins. Usually I get right through.

The rumored dates are August 15 or 27- October 2, October 25-31, November 28-19, December 15-21

Rumor is that ASMovies, little mermaid room at AoA, and POFQ are excluded for the offer. POR will be excluded after October 2.

Where did you see August 27 as the possible start?

Someone quoted the dates wrong, just a miscommunication but since I haven't read quite a few pages since yesterday I was scared there had been a change.

3, and you can have it for up to 14 nights as long as you check in by Oct. 2 (if the rumors are true, of course).

Don't pay full price if there's a discount available! Take 2 Advil and save that money!
