Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

On Facebook page, Black think that GP will maybe be april 30.. OHhh will love that, one less day to wait and my ADr 180 days mark are may 1 so will be less things to carry about if it's 2 separate days and FD before ADR

Last year, we had some early rumors on dates, but never anything as concise as this. In fact, I don't remember anything that looked this good on dates until right before the release, and we were finding out resorts that were limited just the day before (like POR and ASMo being not in the promotion). I do think that we will see the August start date be pushed back to the 30th or so, but that is just my 2 cents. There was NO confirmation from Visa beforehand that I recall.

Darn, I was hoping they did and maybe I didn't remember. We're checking in at POP on 11/21. So we're going to having to change check in to the 19th to get FD. I'm thinking about going ahead and modifying our dates this weekend so that Monday all we have to worry about is snagging FD.

Called Chase and got right through. I asked if there was any new promotions for card members starting anytime soon. The girl was super helpful and said she couldn't say anything "on the record" but to keep the Disney number in my phone for next week. I asked "Maybe Monday?" and she was noncommittal, would not confirm nor deny. I even tried "Okay I'll say a day and you like cough or something if I'm close?" She was not giving up anymore than what she said!

I try to be as helpful as possible by saying things like "I really can't say, but as a caution if you are going to call us on Monday, be prepared for a longer than normal hold time" Those are the best hints I can give without hearing about it.

The rumored dates are August 15 or 30- October 2, October 25-31, November 8-19, December 15-21

Rumor is that ASMovies, little mermaid room at AoA, and POFQ are excluded for the offer. POR will be excluded after October 2.

Haha I work for Apple in iOS support and developer services and I get the same thing daily about patch and product releases. I try to be as helpful as possible by saying things like "I really can't say, but as a caution if you are going to call us on Monday, be prepared for a longer than normal hold time" Those are the best hints I can give without hearing about it.

In addition to the above exclusions, the 3 bedroom villas and the FW campsites will likely also be excluded (as usual).

I had the same thing happen about a week ago. I refreshed and checked back 20 mins later and had my pick of all the resorts. What dates were you looking at?

We had booked an original trip and I wasn't really worried about discounts, I booked at rack rate but if these dates are true I'll move my dates and possibly move my resort but right now I am doing nothing. I just don't want to move my trip around more than I need to.

I agree, it's why I haven't booked yet. I want official information to make my decision and don't want to have to switch everything up. Trying to patiently wait. LOL

Question. I just spoke with our TA and she said that since we got the summer room discount, if free dining happens when we are there (late August) we wouldn't qualify for it because we got the room discount. Has anyone heard of being able to get the room discount and free dining?

Your question was answered but just make sure your TA knows you can switch and is ready if it is better for you. I would think a good TA would do the calculations for you ahead of time and let you know which is better.

When do room only discounts typically come out? With free dining or after? And how long after?

Last year they came out same day for fall FD.

Slightly different dates, and less resort exclusions.

There's standard available at CBR for our dates (8th - 17th November). Panicing a little though!

Is CSR a good alternative (just in case)? I'd like to try AKL but I think that is a bit out ofour price range!

If you currently have room would you try to change it or book new res all together and cancel old one.
I had such issues when they tried to modify it last year.
