Free Dining arrival/date questions

What if we were to arrive on the 12th of August but want to switch over to free dining on the 16th.... Would we have to buy two seperate tickets for when we arrive and then again to be a part of the free dining package? Seems like this would be much more expensive. Thanks so much!

You sure would. The two ressies have nothing to do with each other. A few have reported being able to just get tickets on the second res and get them early but most have not been able to. It involves getting a manager at the resort involved.

Thanks... that is what I was afraid of. I guess it would not make alot of sense to go this route then.

You can just get a 1 day pass with the 2nd package and then save it for a future trip.
