Does anyone know if Disney will plan to offer the "FREE DINING" again. I really enjoyed taking advantage of the dining. I am starting to plan another trip for January but I am coming up short on funds

I wouldn't count on it. I think they did it for Sept because of all the hurricanes that hit FL last year. But if they do count me in.

They usually do that twice a year for a very short time period to get new business when it is slow. So definatly keep a look out for either May and the beginning of June.

Hate to contradict mickeyistheman, but this was the first year free dining was offered. There may be slower times, but there is no guarantee that free dining will come around again. Remember the Pay for 4 days, get 7 days Fairy Tale Package from a couple years ago...that stuck around for a few months and hasn't been seen since.

I tend to agree with the poster about September due to the hurricanes. Disney probably had people not coming because of the 4 storms that hit last year and needed beds full.

My opinion...we won't see free dining again.

They do seem to run some sort of promos for the end of August though. At least the last two years. We went for 7 night at the WL with 2 adults and 2 kids so either promo works for us. If its 7 nights for the price of 4 we just buy the dinning plan as an add on. If its free dinning then that works well.

In the end we would get the dinning plan either way so it is just another form of discount. In the case of the dinning plan it saved us $635. If they had given us days free it would have been about the same savings. Either way it works for us.

does any one know if there is a site that has a list of historical promotions and when they are out...ie i know our last trip was jan of 04 and they had a room promo that started after the holidays ...wondering if anyplace lists when and what they have had in the past i think mousesavers has room rates but don't know it mentions everything

i doubt you'll see free dining again either..i think it worked "better" than they might have expected and why they got stricter in some places towrds the end the dining plan seems like agood deal even to pay for thought to me

Mousesavers.com keeps a record of all promotions and when they were offered for the past several years.
