Free Dining 2014 Discussion ~ Part 2

Got my second choice, POP 9/30-10/11. Wanted CSR but it wouldn't show availability for any of my dates. Sad because it showed with the DV offer! Oh well, I'm happy with POP. We will shorted the stay though and do a split stay so that I can try POR which I've been wanting to the last 3 times we've gone! Will do room only for that just so I can stay there, FD for half the trip.

Called right at 7am (4am my time), DH did too and his call got dropped half way through. Mine picked up after 40 min. Good luck to everyone waiting!!

so I decided not to wait for the phone lines (which only give me the busy signal) and went online to book the fd offer. I have three reservations i'm working with.
the fd offer showed for the first one and I keyed it in, no problems. booked! now when I go back to do the other two the offer no longer shows. anyone else no longer seeing the offer?

My guess is you told them you wanted to modify an existing reservation. Saying that puts you in a "non priority" line to talk with a CM.

Even if you want to modify an existing account tell them you want to make a new reservation, and when you actually get to a human then do what you need to do, modify your existing account.

When the "robot" came on, I asked for special promotions and offers.

After pressing redial a million times I got back through in about ten minutes and am currently on hold again listening to Back to the Future music...let's try this again. I did say new reservation this time around so we'll see how it goes. I hope it doesn't take long.

I finally was able to book online at the exact same time that I got through to reservations on the phone! Two rooms CBR - preferred - Dec. 23 - January 1

Remorse! Remorse! I wish I wouldn't have impatiently booked through the Canadian link. It was 3:30 AM--I wasn't thinking clearlyNot to mention I inadvertently booked CSR Business level. Doh!

Now I am envisioning showing up with my big free dining grin on my face and having the cast member ask for my Canadian ID....then I pull this move : . Then I have to pay three hundred gajillion dollars to rebook and am forever known as the lady who tried sneaking the system to book her free dining 39 minutes earlier than the rest of the US. Maybe I am worrying excessively here (it's kind of my thing).

After being on hold for 1 hour 36 minutes I was finally able to book an AoA family suite with upgraded dining. My kiddos are going to be so excited.

As for me...now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have booked BWI instead, it was only a $300 difference to go from value to deluxe after I upgraded my dining .

Best of luck to those of you still on hold. Don't give up!

I'm not seeing it anymore either. I went back online to check for my cousin and its not there anymore

Just booked 12/14-12/19 at Coronado with FD. We have never been at Christmas time- SUPER EXCITED

Wow, the reality of waking up every hour on the hour to check the website has set in....im at work and beyond exhausted! Good news is, it was all worth it in the end!!! Looking forward to checking back this afternoon reading what everyone got

I started with 2 but after an hour on my cell I hung up as LD charges are expensive. But now I'm trying again with my cell and its always busy.
