Ok , a lot of you are posting about personalized maps? How are they personalized? How does it benefit you?

On the WDW website, go under My Disney Experience and there is a link that says Free Customized Maps. I do it the other way. I always order my maps when I get home from my trip and highlight the areas we visited/enjoyed most as a keepsake of our vacation.

I have been so excited, hoping I would get a free dining pin for our December trip. I finally called today after following these boards for a while, and much to my amazement, we had one! Our trip is Dec 14-21. We had to make two reservations since the free dining is for Dec 15-22.

We originally thought we would stay with family in Kissimmee, but we all really wanted to stay on Disney property. I crunched the numbers and figured that we would only be spending about $500-1000 more to stay in a moderate if we could get the free dining plan. I am so excited that we will not have to worry about transportation, a rental car etc. Our kids are older, 17 and 20 so this will be an entirely different experience than our other trips in 05 and 07!

I had to make a quick decision about which resort to reserve so I chose Coronado Springs based on a coworkers comments about tons of little kids at the Caribbean Beach resort. Is this a good choice for teens? Now I get to figure out where we want to eat all these great meals!

Has anyone brought kids 17 and 20 to Mickeys Christmas party? Did they enjoy it?

Here's hoping that the rest of you will get a pin code too!!

I've never stayed at CSR so can't comment on that other than it is also a convention center so I would think they'd have at least some things geared toward adults. Joe is staying there in Sep - I would take that as a very good sign that you made a good choice there.
My daughter & son-in-law went to MNSSHP when they were in their 20s & loved it. I'll bet you & your teens will really enjoy the Christmas party, too.

I called today after being super busy for the last few days and they found me a pin!!! WOOHOO!!! It has been a surreal day! Disneyfantotheend,,, you will be next!!! Keep the positivity going!

YES! First day to become available and it went to just over 1,000 (4 people) to over 2,000 I actually cried to the airline- I'm so embarrassed!
After obsessing, I mean searching, I might have a flight with a layover in DC from PA- not ideal but not 2,000 either

I don't kniw where your from in PA, I'm about an hour west of Philly. We're flying out of ILG, which is Philadelphia/Wilmington (New Castle), flying Frontier. 4 round trip tickets was $814.

So excited!!! Just found out my boyfriend's mother got the pin via snail mail today, woohoo!!! She was on the fence on going with before but she's politely been told she is definitely going now whether she wanted to or not lol! Keep hope alive all!! Woohoo!!

I think of the Disboards as my support group I don't post a lot but seeing that everyone else is in the same as me I feel better.

The boards make a decent support group, we just need a non-dis obsessed member to attempt to lead us in a healthy direction. At least we know that we are FAR from alone!!!

Of course, I called and No PIN!!! Ugh!!! The CM I had said there probably would be "a sale" coming out in the next 6 weeks.

Yep, looks very similar to my day. Maybe with a little crying and sulking added in. I wish I could move on, but just can't seem to do it.

The anticipation just sucks us all in. We know each day that we probably have no pin and the announcement is weeks away, but we have to check, and check, and check.......

Thank you for caring! I've been keeping up with my reading here, just have been really busy & haven't had time to post. Imagine - having to actually work at work - what is up with that??? Work day was so frustrating today I only kept myself going with thoughts of a "liquid dinner" - and I rarely ever drink!
Ah well, if the goal is to make each day better than the last, tomorrow should be a snap!

I really love our FD thread group - you all are AWESOME!

Its so weird that I receive tons of stuff from them before I book then I book and get nothing. I wonder if I call and say I can't afford it without a pin.... hmmm I bet they hear that a lot lol.

And for those who haven't... and don't lose hope or fret. You just keep calling and keep checking this thread bc you know the news will be here before anyone else knows I'm sure between Joe, Smitch, Pluto, and Sylkie we will know nice and early when the Disney Visa and GP offers go out and if you keep reading everyday (like really who doesn't) you'll be able to get that phone call in before everyone else.

Think of all the fun and Magical Crazy time we will all be having.

I'm sure there will be a late fall/early winter discount released in July/August...it's just up in the air what it will be.
I think the pins bode well for free dining, but, again, who knows.
It would be really unusual for them NOT to do any type of GP discount for that time frame.
