DH reminded me we have Disney Parks behind the scenes or something like that recorded on the DVR. I had forgotten! Whatever it is we watched 2 hours worth the other night. Therapy for 113 day wait!

im glad im not the only one who watches the vacation dvd over and over and dvrs all of the Disney world specials!! : )

think about this next time you stop and sit on a bench and watch people walk by. im telling you you can tell how many days people have been at the park by how miserable they are and how much and how loud they are yelling at their kids!! its hysterical to watch. Usually the day 10+ parents are spewing a lot of curse words together in one sentence!!! LOL

I shamefully called again to see if I had a pin. No pin. The cm was nice though and told me to keep on checking that the marketing department has a mind of their own...lol. I appreciated her friendliness but I really need a support group or something! I can not stop myself from calling every few days or so!

think about this next time you stop and sit on a bench and watch people walk by. im telling you you can tell how many days people have been at the park by how miserable they are and how much and how loud they are yelling at their kids!! its hysterical to watch. Me? My feet are usually still hurting when I wake up so I just walk slower, & rest more often. Although I have found over the years that if you take a couple different pairs of COMFORTABLE shoes, it's easier on the feet than if you wear the same pair every day. Not sure why - different pressure points maybe?

I made the mistake once of wearing flip flops to Epcot. We weren't going to be there long...yeah right HA! My feet hurt SOOOO bad that night when I got off the bus that I jumped on my hubby's back to get to the room. We were at CBR and the walk to the room took forever! Never ever ever ever ever again will I ever ever ever ever wear flip flops. When I see ppl in them all I think is "aww you poor thing, you have no clue yet"

You are most welcome! Your 1st trip to Disney? Have a wonderful magical time! Words can't describe what an awesome feeling you get when you first visit the parks.
It should still be pretty warm while you're there. Wearing lighter colors will help keep you cooler (black absorbs all light = heat; white reflects all light = well, maybe not exactly cool, but at least not as hot). And no matter how light your purse may be, it will feel like it weighs 100lbs+ by the end of the day - and that's before you add the weight of all the "Mommy/Honey - could you put this in your purse for me" requests.

Yes Yes!! I suggest a light (talking pull string) book bag to wear on both shoulders if you take a bag. I have one I got from Disney in 07.

DD and I just had this conversation yesterday about 2 pairs of comfy shoes. I told her that her feet won't hurt as bad. So funny. We are thinking similar things now. I think maybe we have all been chatting far too much.

I called 2 days ago asking if I had a pin. No luck, but the CM was vey nice and suggested I call again. She said if enough people call, they'll likely send out more pins. I've never heard that before...and I'm not sure if she knows what she's getting herself into with that suggestion!

Then from me alone they should have sent out more lol I call usually once daily. Yesterday was twice because the first agent I had was quite rude.

I can't believe you are starting to know the agents you're calling. That is too much. Did you give the rude person a bad survey? I hope you did. They are suppose to make everything magical. I get mad when they don't tell me to have a magical day. One time I said before the CM. I think she laughed at me.

I recognized the voice and the name lol. And both times I did. Not thinking I should have escalated due to it because they are supposed to be nice. He didnt say anything to end the call it went straight to the survey!

And to think Joe was concerned about starting this sequel thread right before he left for the weekend - worried we might not keep it going while he was away! As if that would be a problem with this chatty - not to mention totally cool - group. Joe's gonna have a lot of catch up reading to do when he gets back
