My daughter (age 24) can do that too.... I just can't wear flip flops at all... I bring two pairs of comfortable sandals and switch off every other day...

Like I said in the other thread....a CM in upper management told us the next offer would be released Monday, June 17......we didn't like that answer and ended our call with FD for our October trip...

My whole family is going to get new sneakers in August or September for our trip in October. They'll be worn in but not beat up...they should be just right....should be lol

Hey, where ya been? In a nutshell: apparently JLK, after speaking to 3 CM's up the chain of command, was given a free dining pin on their October ressie. Was also indicated,per that conversation, that the next promo's would be coming out June 17th I believe. If I left anything out, please feel free to add.

My whole family is going to get new sneakers in August or September for our trip in October. They'll be worn in but not beat up...they should be just right....should be lol

I don't like putting my feet in little foot jails (i.e. closed toe & heel shoes) so I wear what I call 'sandal sneakers'. They have the cushioning of sneakers and have straps that fasten around ankles/toes so you don't have to wear out your feet just trying to hold the sandals on, but have the open-air-so-my-feet-can-breathe like sandals - best of both worlds imo. I try to find ones that have anti-microbial and moisture-wicking insoles to keep my feet drier & more "socially acceptable".

Apparently, Sylkie has become quite fond of him as he is a handsome 43 yo lawyer who loves kids, does charity work and has 6 months of DVC points!!! And he will change diapers!! LOL, I'll sleep with him if he could get me free dining for November as far as the pins go, I thought if you got a pin you use it and if you didn't get one you just waited for the general public offer. I don't think I would feel comfortable arguing my way up the chain in order to get it. I think it should be a fair playing field for everyone.

Looking at the bottom of your ticker I see you have quite the brood. Which makes me understand why free dining is so important to so many families. I'm really hopeing for it myself but if it doesnt happen it wouldn't hurt me so much. This trip it's myself, son and mother. My mother wants to pay her own way so its just my son and I that I have to pay for. Oop would not be so expensive and I've only had free dining once back in 2011. It was the qsd and it seemed like we were eating constantly.

I just wanted to say I wore flip flops almost our entire trip in August of 2010, and my feet were fine. Not sure I would recommend it, because everyone's feet are different, but didn't bother me at all.

Ooh that's sounds perfect for me. I HATE wearing shoes that's why I'm in flip flops or bare feet. Where do you find them and do you by chance have a picture??
