hi there - this is my first trip to disney where I have to be the one to do the planning.....going to disney is sooooo much easier when you're not the mom! LOL!

I too am anxiously awaiting more info for fall dates on the disney site. Is that where I will be able to see the promos as well?

Hi! I got the fd pin for summer (which I don't need....), but it got me wondering...If I get free qs in a value, can I upgrade to regular dining? Seems like I read this on here before. Anyone know what the cost difference is per day per adult and per child? I like to run all my numbers way in advance so when the time comes, I just plug it into my spreadsheet and get the best deal We are a party of 8, so it may end up being better for us to go deluxe villa with fd then two rooms value with only qs. Thanks dissers

It's $111.00 more per person.....I did it and thats what they charged me.

I called to see how much the upgrade was this AM and the CM I spoke to said it was roughly $15 per adult per day and $3 per child per day.

We are going to book to rooms for pofq, Should I book before the discount expires on the march 27 or wait for new discounts? We are going in early June. Or can i book and if the discount works out better for us could I change?

You can make changes to your package without penalty at anytime before the 45 day mark. That includes switching discounts.

2 Bedroom Villas START at $570.00 per night, two rooms at a value resort start at $164.00 per night. So, that would be over $400.00 more per night to stay at a Villa. You didn't say what the make-up of adults and children are in your group or even how many nights you are staying, but there is no way it would be cheaper for you to get a Villa vs. 2 rooms at a value, even if you have to upgrade from the quick service to the regular plan. Even if you had all adult in your party it would only cost about $616.00 to upgrade your dining plan. It would cost $2,800.00 to upgrade your 2 value rooms to a villa.

It's $11.00 per night per adult and $0 difference per night per child to upgrade from the quick service to the basic plan during value season.
