The kids stay, play and eat deal was just as good for us. THere was a an 11 dollar difference with the kids stay, play and eat being a little bit more expensive BUT I don't have to call and try talk to someone and monkey around with potentially staying at a different resort when we REALLY want to stay at Pop. To me, saving 11 dollars total, is not worth the time I will spend on hold today.

This is great thread.
I now know what torture is. I am planning my sisters trip for sept. I CAN'T GO. My kids are going to be in High school and Middle school. Can't take them out.
Here is her break down:
Sept 10th to Sept 18
3 Adults (mother in law)
2 kids 5 and 8
9 day park hopper
dining for all 5 ( free I hope)
airfare included from Ohio
$5,240 with paying for dining
Ready for this $ 4,041 if we can get free dining. Can you believe the savings if I can get her free dining next week WOW.
I also told her she needs to spend the money on Mickey's not so scary halloween party. There is 1 date while she is there. That will be about $275.00 for the 5 of them.

I also booked my cousins family on my Visa:

7 nights at POP Century Aug 29-Sept 5, standard room
upgraded to traditional dining
6 day base ticket
$1531.00

I'm excited I will earn almost 60 reward dollars just paying for all these trips on the Visa!!! Anyone else want me to book their trip??? LOL Just Kidding!!

8/29 - 9/7
8 day Park Hoppers
Free QSDP

$3,222.63

I actually booked bounceback. So we already have the regular free dining. But Dh wants the QSDP because we are there for 9 nights so he thinks it will be to many adr's. I think he has me sold on this idea.

2 adults, one child and one infant
POP Century
Dates 9/24 to 10/3 for 9 nights
10 day MYW base ticket we have tons of water park tickets we need to use.
Regular dining plan no upgrade needed
no insurance
Total cost 1675.00

Paying for 3 out of pocket ts meals with tips 250.00 if we do the qsdp instead. Airfare for 4 800.52. I figure if we pay for the 3 meals we would be spending about the same in tip money so it all works out in the end the same.
We did MNSSHP party twice last year so we may skip it this year.

Although may subtract a day ticket or two because going to sea world with their deal for a day and we get in later (1:30 flight lands, 4:00 arrival?) on the first day.

Hoping for a bounceback offer for next year while we are there!!!

Just out of curiosity...could you keep the BB with the free DDP and then just eat CS instead of TS if you wanted? I know it's "wasting" the TS credits...but then that way you could use 3 of the TS credits instead of paying out of pocket?
