Speculating opinions on FD were not deleted and you can still read them on here. I assume you didn't see the deleted posts, but they were deleted for good reason. CanadianGuy wasn't just deleting because he didn't want you to see a differing view on FD. We're all still waiting for official confirmation!

Gotta read the whole thread......there was good cause for the warnings! But your primary point is certainly true; we're all speculating. Hey, we've gotta do something until Disney decides to "speak!!"

I didn't read through this whole thread so sorry if this has been discussed: I received an email earlier today about the kids stay play and dine (QS only) free offered to Disney Visa holders. The time frame doesn't completely match up with free dining-I think it was only good through mid Sept, but the date of this announcement is curious to me. This is usually when I see the "free dining" announcement for Disney Visa people. So, my questions is this: perhaps the Kids stay play and dine free promo will be the fall promo? Which is actually BETTER for those with multiple kids but not so good for us AP holders who don't buy length of stay park passes. Anyone else get this email?

I got it. I hope it isn't the deal, because my kids are not Disney kids. They are 13 and 16, so both adults. I am well aware that it is a possibilty though, just as everything else is at this point.

This package only runs through Aug and won't be the Fall promo (unless they don't offer a Fall promo at all). We're waiting for the Free Dining option that typically runs from mid-Aug through September. The free dining package that people on this thread have been discussing hasn't been released yet...and nobody knows for sure if it will come out at all.

My opinion is there are no leaks about a FD offer because it is still too early. It was unuasual that FD was announced in March last year. I think they will do it in April and the rumors will surface as they tend to do.

and if it is not FD then it will be something better, IMHO


Iger did say that they would cut back on discounts, but do you really think that will pertain to VALUE season...I highly doubt that, so the discounts are coming and I am wishing pixie dust to all who are waiting for them.

Iger said the "latter of the year, but admitted even he did not know when that would be...seemed like this was his hope...I do not see the economy doing that great as of yet either. If Disney has low #'s you can bet your bippity that there will be free dining.

I really do feel it is coming, but in April not now, hang in there!

I think Disney is struggling to fill rooms through August at the moment and possibly came out with yet another promotion to fill those resorts. That's my best guess anyways as it relates to "kids eat/play free". I've actually received Pin codes via email twice in 2 months offering Free Quick Service dining, but only through mid-August.

My thing is you said it went into September but the link is for it to end in August. If a new one went out TODAY and it is good into September that could be the deal.
