About this time last week I thought "I am surprised that I am not seeing everyone (including me) panic on Disboards. I am barely seeing any activity." Then a thread or two started with "I spoke with a CM" or "I have a sister that KNOWs" or "my TA is taking a sleeping bag and catheter to work for the weekend because big deals are coming out" and there it goes.

Ahhhh...this is what I remember about previous years right before the FD announcements came out.

I spoke to a TA yesterday. Yes I know, yet another story from a TA. I asked her about the "pin" that AAA TAs supposedly had. She is a AAA TA. She had no idea what I was talking about. She said she would call and see what she could find out, but never got back to me, so i am assuming it wasn't true or she couldn't do it. Maybe it was only offered to certain offices, if it exists.

Okay, so to my point. During that conversation she said she is certain free dining will be coming out. Just that she doesn't know a date or specifics yet.

I just called yesterday and spoke with WDW Reservations line. I am booking a trip checking in on October 1st. Asked her if she could find any pins or codes for me. She said I have free dining but that it expired on August 14th. No good for me. I also mentioned that I am an AP and she said I also had a FD code for AP too, but it was also only good for until August 14th. They are out there! I keep waiting to see if they will extend it for my dates like they did last year!

The August 14th ones have been out for a while... it's the End of August / September ones we are eagerly awaiting.

I am with you. Although I actually have to wake up early to get the kids off to school anyway. I have not slept very well just wondering, but I do feel much better and more relaxed about it today. The thread on the dining boards helped me stop worrying so much.

I would loooove free dining for my trip with my 3 kids in November. I am hoping...

We go every December and last year if it wasn't for the free dining I couldn't have afforded paying for my family and my sister in law and her three kids because out of the 7 of us 5 where considered adults. This year we have a real tight budget just for the three of us and my son is now considered an adult on the dining. I really want the free dining because it is the best deal out there!

Just an FYI...free dining had been extended to December last year.
