Free Dining '09

Question for MBanks:

If I book a package for the end of August 2009 - will I be able to add the free dining if its offered? I understand you only get one add on - either a discount code if available or free dining.

Thanks...and you rock, Batman.

;)

You will have to call and have it converted to free dining. Remember, just because you have the room booked doesnt mean you have it guaranteed with free dine, theres still limited availibility for free dine rooms.

Just thought that I would give you my initial thoughts on the Free DDP offer for next year, obviously the US won't know what your offer will be until next year. Looking at an identical booking to ours for this year,we have CBR with 21 nights Free DDP,next year that would be CBR plus 21 nights CS DDP but & here it gets intresting because CBR next year is more expensive than the other mods (well for us anyway) it is actually cheaper to stay at SSR & OKW with Free DDP than the CBR option-go figure?

21 Nights? :scared1:

Next year with the counterservice plan as the free plan, I'd probably prefer to book my room separately with a discount than get the rack-rate for free dining.

Hi

I queried the fact that CBR was more expensive than the other moderates with Disney and they said the "standard" room on the UK site was actually one of the new Pirate Themed rooms (they could not bring up the 'normal' standard room on their computers).

Cheers

I didn't think the odds were in my favor. Well I can always hope for a discount code for my room/package then I guess. :rolleyes1

HI, I had read that that the family suites were included in free dining this past year. I tried to book it last year(2007)and it was not offered. We are considering a 2009 fall trip.

We were at All star music last year, 2007 and booked the family suites for next month. Got the free dining plan with the suites. I know there are a limited number of rooms for the free dining. Good Luck.

I've read all these posts and I'm still looking for some clarity. Can anyone confirm-

1 This offer is valid at value resorts
2 All resort levels offer the basic DDP free (it's NOT the CS meal deal option)
3. The rate you pay is the rack rate for the room in order to get the free food.

In order to get free dining, assuming the 2009 plan mirrors the 2008 offer, does it matter when your stay begins? For example, if my stay starts on 8/21/09 and FD starts on 8/24, can I get the FD for the portion of my stay AFTER 8/24? Or does my stay have to start on (or after) 8/24 to get the FD? Thanks.
