I only had to wait about 20 minutes.

I booked a standard room at the Pop Century for 9/1 - 9/7.

This is our second time getting the free dining.

YEAHHHHHHHHHH I got it...........finally I was so worried my boss was gonna flip since I was on hold for like 50 mins here...... I already had reservations since we were going anyhow. August 27th - Sept 1st at the pop a prefered room now with FREE dining

Had a super nice CM. They took my deposit I already had on another visa credited it back and charged it on my disney visa......... I'm so glad that is over I was totally stressing out.....

Asked for Woods View, none available. CM may have been confused and thought that bunk beds were requirement - they were not. Nothing available at Contemporary these dates, though.

More info...
1) If you already put your deposit on your Disney Visa, you get to add it to your reservation. If you paid some other way you have to get a new reservation.

2) While the dining plan is free, you do have to pay the taxes on the plan.

I was not charged tax on the cost of the dining plan. My reservation price was reduced exactly by the cost of 2 adult plans per day for 10 days.

TA just e-mailed me! We got what we wanted: September 22-30 at Pop Century 2 connecting rooms, 4 adults, 1 child, 1 infant with free dining, 9 day base tix with park hopper! $2794. Good luck everyone!!

Got POR waterview 9/12-16 w/free dining, they took the Visa desposit.
They had changed our room only to include the promo without issue. Did the ADR's as well!
Was told that some resorts are booking out (already?) but no specifics. Also, I was told by Visa that it was a vlue only w/ 5 nite minimum, that was INCORRECT, so I'd take a chance and CALL if you are at all interested. The only thing that seems to be "in stone" are the arrival dates!

I was on hold for 50 minutes this morning when I had to hang up to get ready for work. After my shower I called back again and was on hold for about another 50 minuites.

I got a very nice CM who knew excatly what I was calling for. "I'd like to add a code to my reservatoin."

"And what code would that be mam, as if I didn't already know"

I was unable to get the resort I wanted (POFQ) but was able to get PORS for 9/7-9/15

Woohoo!! After a 75 minute wait, and 30 minute ressie/discussion with the CM, I have booked 2 standard rooms at POP 9/14-9/22, with 1 day base tickets!

Has anyone had any luck booking through AAA yet for this promo? I'm just curious to see if you can get the AAA discount AND the free dining???

I called 8:30-ish (EST) and got through after 41 minutes. She was able to switch my existing ressie at the Beach Club with no problem!

WOW, I am so excited. Finally off the phone after 1 hour and 40 minutes. Great CM, said over 300 calls on the switch board. Got POP for my mom and sister. Their 1st trip ever. 14 Nights 9/21-10/5. They will get to do MNSSHP. I said I was her just to be safe. Anyway, he said how crazy it was that everyone was calling. Said that it looks like everyone already knew about the deal before it even came out and wasn't sure what would be left for the general public with so many ressies coming in already. I am just so glad to have this all booked finally. I still wish it were me though. (going early August, no discounts for me)

Finally got through after 1 hour and 35 minutes on the 800 number !! My CM said I was his second call (and this was at 8:36). He kept apologizing for the compuer system running sooo slow, so that is another reason everything is taking so long.

Our dates: Sept. 15 - 25 All Star Music, standard room

All Star Movies sold out of standard rooms on the free dining plan for those dates, but preferred view rooms at Movies still available. He also said All Star Sports still had standard view rooms available those dates.

GOT IT!!!! TIME TO CHANGE MY SIGNATURE LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We ALSO just got POP 9/22 thru 9/30, funny, same as one of the last posters! About 1 hr 15 mins. on hold, played a poker tournament online while I waited... made my ressies while I was heads up... that was stressful! Finished the reservation... Got everything!!! POP, 8 nights, non preferred, no insurance, 4 ppl. $1008!!! And the ticket portion is not really spent on this trip, but rather saved for future ones! So the cost of this trip is 82 x 8 x 1.125. $738 right? Anyway finished the ressie, scribbled down my numbers then 3 minutes later I WON the tournament for $45. I told my wife that'll pay for the 'required' photo package at Chef Mickeys!

We were planning to go next spring break and DW thought that was soon enough. But I pointed out that the total cost for our family(minus my mom) would be $2729 in September with free dining versus an estimated $4738 if we went during spring break next year (if the room prices stayed the same and we got a AAA discount)
That and the fact that we won't have to deal with Easter crowds were enough to sell her on the idea.
