Free DDP Booking SUCCESS!!? - Post 'Em Here!

Taxes - you're right! I just did the math and was NOT charged the taxes either. But my CM must have mentioned it half a dozen times.

OH -and I was able to add free dining to my parent's reservation, I'm just stuck paying for it (mom will pay me back though!).

One last thing, my CM said that if I booked free dining on a card that wasn't a Disney Visa, the whole thing would be cancelled.

OK, finally got through after 1 hour and 42 minutes. Our first choice was WL standard view the week of Sept. 8-15, but they only had courtyard available.

They did have standard view for the week of Sept. 1-8, but decided on AKL standard view for Sept. 8-15 instead. Total = $2882.

Our third straight year of free dining, YEAH!!!!!

What's everyone doing while they're on hold? Anything fun?? I've just switched phones--- thought after 2 hours of use (since getting cut off when CSR answered after 1.75 hours and on hold again....) the first cordless might be getting tired!!!

OK, after TWO phone calls (I got cut off 20 minutes into the first one), I got:

2 rooms - POFQ - 9/22 - 9/29 in one room, through 9/30 in the other, standard view.

Tidbits that may interest some people:
We already had reservations at POP Century, but I transferred them to POFQ. We kept the same confirmation #. We had to put new deposits down on the Disney Visa card, but they also refunded by original depsoit on the other credit card.

With Free Dining, we are both saving money AND upgrading to a moderate. Zip-a-dee-doo-dah!

That is odd. I guess I was lucky. Unless it depends on which number you call. I used 407-939-6244 (407-WDW-MAGIC)

on hold 88 minutes, changed reservation from the following week to include free dining at all star sports preferred room, price went from $2603 to $1714 !!! that's the most moeny I ever made/saved in 88 minutes..... Yahoo!!!

NEXT TIME I get the room and then call and change to the free dining with the code, this is very frustrating.

Like trying to wion concert tix on local radio, but 1 million times worse.

Got to CR about 7:50am wait time about 1hour 10-15 min.
We now have made another RES. for Aug31- for 5 nights thinking we might change and have the kids just miss 2 days of school! That wouldn't be to be for FREEDINE right!

Changed are room from CT- to POP. Thought we would try it since I was told by the Disney CR that is sells out pretty fast for the values.

so total not bad: Pop-5nights-1dayticket for everyone( we have aready some tickets from last trip) and FREE DINE total of : $729.90!!!!!!!!!! We haven't done the Free Dine!!! Hope we can this year!!!

One last thing, my CM said that if I booked free dining on a card that wasn't a Disney Visa, the whole thing would be cancelled.

The first thing the CM asked for when I said I wanted the free dining was the first 4 digits of my Disney Visa card. Apparently they can tell from that if it's a Disney Visa or not.

After 1 hour and 40 minutes on hold I got it! We're doing 2 packages at the Polynesian, garden view. One from the 24th of August until the 26th and then one from the 26th until September 2nd w/free dining! Yippee!!!

Morning all! Started calling 7am ish had to hang up at 8:15am to take ds to lax...
called back 8:32am et just got through (9:20)..traveling 9/12 to 9/18
wanted wl woods view - not avx - no standard either..
got courtyard view bunk beds 3A 3C 15, 14, 10 (2 rooms) 5 day base tix..

btw, still on @ 9:40am, poor CM having some trouble..

88 min on hold, but I got Pop for 9/15 to 9/22 with free dining, 7 day hoppers, standard room for $1410.35 (no insurance).

Yay! I couldn't take waiting so I finally emailed my TA to ask if he was able to get it added on to our reservation and he said he was!

CBR, here we come on 8/26-9/1 with free dining!

Success!! After an hour and 45 minutes wait with Grand Gatherings.

We have 5 rooms booked Garden View Poly 9/15-9/22.

3 rooms use the 40% off pin code-and we added free dining to the other 2 rooms for a grand total savings off of rack rate of $3900.00

So excited and can hardly wait- now on to the rest of the planning!!!
