Free birthday admission

Does anyone know how you're supposed to get free admission to disneyland on your birthday? Do they send you a ticket or do you go up to the ticket booth on your day? I registered both myself and my boyfriend on the disney website and neither of us got anything from them on our birthdays except an email that says happy birthday, there was nothing on these email that mentioned anything about free admission. We were kinda upset with not getting it. Both our b-days just passed in April....What happened???

You had to actually go to Disneyland on your birthday to get a free admission.

You have to go to the ticketbooth at DL like PP said; and they give you a birthday ticket to be used on your birthday only. So unless you and your boyfriend had the same birthday your birthday tickets would of been good on seperate days anyway.

All you had to do was show up at Disneyland and show ID. The free birthday admission was valid on your actual birthday only.

you just show up and get the free admission. Sorry you missed out!

Actually you should register online to avoid a legnthy registration process at the park.
Once you have done that you will recieve a confirmation e-mail with a pdf file to print your invitation.
Present that & proper photo ID o th "will call" window & you're good to go.

Ticket is for the actual birth date only.

Not everyone gets the email. The OP did say she had registered. My bday is soon and I don't have my email yet. DBF never got an email and his bday was in Jan. You do not have to have the email, if you don't have it they register when you get your free gift.

Be sure to check your Spam e mail folder carefully. I got my birthday e mail as well as DD's---both in my spam folder. Disney sends the e mail about two weeks before your actual birthday.

well what i did was register like a million times because i was paranoid lol
i actually got an email that said 'you dont need to register more than once' lol
then you get an email about 2 weeks before your bday that shows what you have to print, which you take to the ticket booth thing, and they asked for my id and took the paper and i got a ticket.

i cant say what happened with you though, thats a bummer :/
