I heard from Sandy321 and Nemo is swimming with her family now! :fish:

Just checking in! :thumbsup2

How is life, everyone?

Janet, you're getting close to your trip! I don't even have to ask if you're excited! :rotfl:

Halloween plans, anyone? DS is going to be Tigger, like his Grandpa Karl is EVERY YEAR. He's a big Tigger person. We're actually going to go down to the zoo today. They do a trick-or-treating with the animals thing.

Glad you checked in, we miss you.

Life is crazy busy getting ready for our trip in 43 days!!! Can't wait, we have been planning for over a year now.

As for Halloween, DS11 is going to be Roman Warrior and DD7 is going to be Cinderella and then wear costume when she had breakfast and dinner with the princess.

Aw. I miss you guys! And Nemo!

YAY! You're getting so close! I can't wait for your TR!

That's smart of your DD (I'm sure it was you, but we'll pretend it was her). If you're going to pay that much for costumes, might as well get a lot of use out of them!

40 days from today, I will be at POP!!!

I'm just as anxious for you to get there as you are.:rotfl: After all of the work that you've put into this and waiting all of this time.. I check in periodically to see if you've finally gotten to see Nemo. I hope the next few weeks go very quickly for you!!:thumbsup2

Thanks, it seems like we started this thread and swap so long ago and now I am finally getting close. I have set up one of my swaps and will do the other today so it is actually getting close, only 5 more swappers until my turn but we have to make it through 2 short stays in LS.:scared1: We have made it through so many things so I am not worried.

I have started some packing and will be ordering today gift baskets for kids to be delivered when we arrive. Then all I have to do is order bday cake for DS and castle cake for DD when she eats at 1900 Park Place about 20 days prior. I have the feeling I will be depressed when we get back since I have been planning this trip for almost 18 months and don't know when we will get to go back BUT I will be doing a dining and trip report so stay tuned.

WE'RE HERE!! :cool1:

dh had to do work work - so I'm jumping in quick!!
 Nemo!! Thank you SO VERY Much!! DD has had some, challenges, and the fridge is just perfect!! :worship:

also :worship: to the dis'er who left us Powerade!!! Its what she believes helps her!! and KathyKelly left us with a case of water bottles, bagels, treats!! Just :wizard: :pixiedust:

Janet if you dont have a preferred location - try not to get in the back of the 80's - if they point out Roger Rabbit, start to cry and beg to see if anything is closer!! While it is peaceful here - and we can see the sign to DISNEYWORLD (you know that sign when you are on Magical Express - the sign that says ' We've FINALLY Arrived" well, we have a view of that sign!!!

We can walk to the busses thru the 90's parking lot - but its far!! (It doesnt help my foot has swollen to the size of a .... well huge!! UGLY!!) I know we could've asked after we got here to be moved (first night was a sell out!! :scared1: Which means its CRAZY CROWDED!! ) but with Nemo, and the peace, its all good!!

Today, we hope to make it to Fantasmic - the lines and crowds are crazy, but the weather is delightful!! Bring Sweatshirts - it gets chilly esp in the am and the late evening - no humidity - its marvelous!!

Wow a live report!!I agree they tried putting me in the 90's and I asked to be switched !! Got the 50's and a fsair walk but was happy!!

Glad to hear things are working out for you with Nemo :) and sorry about daughter getting sick  but happy she is better now.

We have requested 50's pool side for all 4 rooms so hopefully we will get it, since we are Grand Gathering, they try to get everyone in same section. I know it will be busy when we check in since it is Thanksgiving weekend but hoping for some pixiedust: to get what we want. If not, I will try the crying and see if it works.

I will be waiting for those TRs!!

Me too...popcorn::

And by the time you get back and get caught up at work...:coffee:
and ready for the Holidays...:santa:
And get all your Trip and Dining Reports Done...:surfweb:

It will be time to start planning for next time...:rotfl:

Unfortunately, I HAVE to bring my blackberry with me to WDW. I know, I know it is not the place for work but I have to check in with my Customer Service rep each day. But it makes it a little easier when we get back. Plus DH and I are both bringing our laptops to WDW so he can download digital photos from new camera onto it and this way during our afternoon breaks I can start my TRs (maybe even some live stuff :woohoo: ) while we are at WDW. We will see what happens. With 18 ADRs and wishes cruise, and Behind the seeds tours we will have a lot to report on. :rotfl2:

Plus add to the above list DS's bday party when we get home. :scared1: And it is my busiest time of year at work since our largest event in last week of January in San Fran so I will be going crazy with that. I will be exhausted.:headache:

We had a preferred room.
I had requested first floor, 60's, lake side, not poolside.
We were given 2nd Floor 50's...:confused3
I'm not sure why... But I just really didn't want to stay in the 50's.
So I asked if we could please have a 60's room.
We were given a second floor 60's room.
I really didn't like the 60's.
It was noisy, the pool was crowded, and the walk to the buses
wasn't as short as I would have thought.
The shortest walk to the buses would definitely be the 70's.
We stayed in the 80's last time and liked it better.
Once we figured out the shortest walk to the buses,
the 80's really weren't that bad.
We cut through the 70's then across the parking lot.

And good luck with those afternoon breaks...
It always seemed to take us an hour to get back to our room...
And another hour to get back to the park...
Walk to the bus, wait for the bus, ride the bus, walk to the park, get into the park...
By the time we got back to POP we had very little time to relax...

Believe me, afternoon breaks aren't my idea, my DH wants to take them. :confused3 I agree that they take too much time, maybe when I get to stay at monorail resort it would work. Then kids will be too old to want to go to MK. :rotfl2: I booked late lunch ADRs each day so hopefully that will be a good enough break so we can keep going. My inlaws have already said they WILL be taking a break (fine with me!) so I made index cards for everyone with all ADRs, times and where they are located so they can meet up with us. Even included a map of the parks on back of card so they won't get lost. I would rather just run back to change clothes for dinner and grab a sweatshirt then plan on taking a nap but others in group have their own ideas. My philosophy this trip is: We all have cell phones, if you don't want to do something or want to go back to hotel, call me when you are ready to meet up and everyone will be happy. Luckily both kids like the same rides (almost all) so we can all ride together this year. We planned time apart this trip too so kids don't kill eachother and we don't want to kill them either. :rotfl: 24/7 togetherness for 8 days will be too much.

Friends of ours just came back on sunday and their DD got sick too. I am bringing my clorox wipes and lysol to spray/wipe down the room plus extras to wipe down the kids during the day. ;)
