Nemo is in LS to wait for Ariel3 to arrive on Saturday. I have a copy of the claim ticket that Sandy321 sent me via text so we should be ok.

Please welcome Michelle_and_Aaron for the April 12-17th 2009 slot. :welcome: She was referred by Englishrose, so Thank you to her!

Nemo - and friends!! Were such a blessing!! I met KathyKelly to get Nemo, and she handed us Nemo, and then the box was FILLED with "stuff and goodies" to that she gave us a case of water, and a 12pak of soda!

DH found the mugs - the perfect (HUGE) size, made coffee with the water - he was a happy camper each and every morning!! (I forgot how he detests the FL water flavor, I had just wanted Nemo to keep the bday cake in!! Little did I know!!)

As I was leaving KK room to trudge to our outback room - I passed LS and thought... hm there is no way DD will eat all these rice krispy treats - so I passed out 4 or 5 to each person in LS that was hanging around!! So KK gave me the method to "bribe" LS!! Seriously, I love chatting with the CM's, and the LS people were so nice and funny late at night (I'm talking around midnight when we put Nemo in so we wouldnt lose our day in the parks!!)

Now packing up Nemo to fit into ONE box - that was a serious challenge... THe coffee pot fits nicely, but the mugs, detergent, stroller ponchos, pool noodles, leftover water, rice krispy treats, etc proved to be a challenge - one I stood up for!! Nemo is filled to the gills, doors and freezer section all were stuffed... I found I could roll the noodles and put in the bottom of the box (original idea was to tape them to the sides of the box, or just ditch them altogether!!) then fit Nemo down in the box... score!! No worries!! I taped the sides of the box that were fraying (I remembered to pack packing tape!!) I filled in the next person's name on the provided form (there are probably 50 or more forms still in the box!!) and we headed down to LS...

At LS I asked for a confirmation paper - and the CM gave me the tag I filled out with the next persons info, and was given the small pick up tag - then I went into the Pop front desk and asked for an envelope to leave Ariel a message - I put the claim ticket in the envelope, and the cm made a note in her ressie to get the envelope!! Easy Peasy!!

Cant wait till she posts how she survived the week with Nemo!!

PS - dd didnt get sick in FL, she has some medical... "challenges" (sugar levels, and I think hormonal shifts, but nothing we caught and brought with us!!)

So when I found the red Power aide in the box, I almost cried with joy - its what dd believes to help her in the FL sun and humidity, she truly thinks of it as a medicinal cure!! We usually get a bottle of the stuff with our breakfast credit - but being so far away - because of Nemo and friends, I didnt have to trudge to the dining hall and back each morning!!

I red the reports of staying at pop - to add mine - I've always been in the 50's preferred location, and from now on I feel its a $10 per day worth it expense!! I prefer Lady and the Tramp 50's its not real close, but I love Lady and Tramp!! KK had the bowling pin building and that was right next to LS - the main building... the 60's has some that is closer to the dining area - but to get closest to the busses would be my first choice, so over at 70's and even some location of 90's definately has an advantage -

and we'd bypass the bottom rooms to get to the 90's parking lot, so no way would I want on the ground floor of those rooms!! ALso if you go right you pass a playground that I never knew was there (our3rd time at Pop) and then its a stones throw to the dining hall - so I truly think the 70/90 buildings are closer to the bus and dining then the 50's area..

(and I'd need a map to confirm those locals, I'll go look for one on the resort boards!)

This is the resort location map _

http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/PopCenturyMap.pdf

We were by the rubik's cube and "80's Parking!! Mind you our room faced trees and the entry to WDW so it was lovely - just far!!

so we'd leave our room and walk thru 9101 that was the main thouroghfare (sp ck?!) so no way would I want bottom floor rooms there!! but you see how the 90's parking curves, that was our path from there to the buss line is really really short!

so it looks like the front half of the 70's is a great place to be!! The food area is on the 70's side, LS and reservations is on the 50's side...

Hope that makes sense!!

Glad you had a great trip and that Nemo helped make it better. Thanks for the tips about LS and happy to hear it was easy for you to put Nemo in LS. I will post tomorrow when I hear from Ariel.

Any special stuff or meals you can share?

I hope the crowds go down - for us we did TGM Best days, and they worked well - when you look at the Bus queue - if the MK line goes around all those chains and is out the line - a full line is usually 2 busses - depending on how many ecv's are in line -

Our last day that MK Line was so long it wrapped down the sidewalk - but the Epcot line had 3 people in it, so we hopped on the Epcot bus, and took the monorail to the TTC then a boat to the MK - we were the first in line at Epcot monorail and rode in the front of the monorail!!

We closed MK one night (8pm!) and the line for the MK express monorail was crazy long - CRAZY - we had to get back to Epcot (I had a pkg waiting) so we did the resort monorail (we were on the 2nd monorail!)

When you get the hot chocolate at Pop for the kids add a squirt of milk - its half and half - it makes the hot chocolate more creamy!

My number one Tip - use your watch - if the lines seem crazy long - and the wait time says 10 min - time it!! For instance Haunted Mansion had a crazy long line - 3 lines under the canvass - and then out passed the stroller parking - I thought 20 - 30 min tops - but nope, that line moves fast!! So does the Buzz line...

Its the best LOVE LOVE LOVE My happy place!!

Thanks for the tips, I did plan my day according to TGM and after reading Summer Trip report we are using Ridemax to plan ride order so hopefully it will work.

Yay! I converted you!!!

Ridemax should be considered a Disney god!

Even in crowded parks, we never waited that long! If you don't believe me, I posted a huge rant in my TR... lol. I'm assuming that's what converted you, Janet!

Worth the $15, all the way. I'd pay more if it was more!
