Its been eleven years and she is doing great! (Thanks for asking about her!) She has had two children since then. Because she had a single mastectomy, she has gone through complete reconstruction.

Give her a hug from me. It is good to hear she has a family and doing great.
Medicine has come along way over the years.

Hey madd.....

How are your "babies" doing? Have you seen any of them out and about lately?

Good morning FREAPS(at least for two more minutes:lmao: )!!!! I am barely functioning this morning since I got off work at 3:30, then had to stop by Meijers for some lst minute camping supplies. Then, when I finally got in bed around 5:00:scared1: I couldn't sleep. My legs both hurt and my heart was pounding like I'd had too much caffeine even though I had only had a thing of green tea several hours earlier.:confused3 The last ime I looked at the clock before falling asleep it was 6:30 and then I had to get up at 8:30 so DH could go to work. Needless to say, I'm not at my best. We're leaving very early in the morning to go to the Smokies for the weekend and I have tons to do/pack today. I've already made a pan of brownies and some ham salad and I still have salsa on my list to make. I am making DH pick up pizza on his way home from work though and I am sure to wash it down with copious amounts of homebrew!:drinking1 At this rate, we may get there and find that we don't have a tent:rotfl2: but I will make sure all the proper alcohol is packed in the cooler. I'll try to check in again today but will be MIA this weekend.

Kellie-here's an early congratulations for finishing your treatment since I'll be missing the party!party: I'll be so happy when this is behind you.

Have a great trip and let us know when your back. I agree the most important thing to pack is the cooler:rotfl2:

Hey madd.....

How are your "babies" doing? Have you seen any of them out and about lately?

Oh girls, the babies- The baby raccoons are gone- the baby turkeys are gone, and I never checked back about the baby birds per all of my freaps instructions. Now I am all freaked out b/c the first time since we lived here (5 years) I saw a rabbit:eek: I have spent hundreds of dollars on my new garden and I am not done and that little sucker better behave! I have no idea where he came from. Even our neighbor made a comment about seeing a rabbit- we never get them in our neighborhood. On the other hand- MIL is getting bombarded with them. And what is she doing? Trapping them and taking them to other places (no, it was not her who dropped off the rabbit here, she knows better!)

Anyway- Someone told me you can't just relocate a rabbit in unfamiliar territory! They will most likely die :worried: After she did this twice, I told her about it. And guess what? She told me she now has more babies in her garden. She caught one and the other one was dead- I said, yes! b/c you moved the mommy! She said her man dropped the baby off at the camp down the street from us where they dropped the mom off at- like that matters! I said it will die there or in your yard- it don't have a mom! SO- I said look- next time you catch a baby, bring it to me and I will take it to the wildlife refuge. Better than giving the poor thing a death sentence! She feels bad. I have a feeling she will never get ahead of them- they......... like bunnies:rotfl2:

I do have these pics of my squirrel dude that I give nuts to- I moved my work up to the dining room and I am right at the window and I feed the little critters nuts. I think squirrels are the coolest, most entertaining pains in the butts ever!

and what's up with this? I have never seen a squirrel lay flat like this.

When I would talk to him he will just, flop :rotfl2: - I think he was playing "adorable" so I will give him more nuts- I see him out in the yard a lot and he lays on his belly all the time:rotfl2: He was doing his flopping today when I was talking to him too:rotfl:

Have fun! And remember- curl up into a ball if a bear attacks........that is the only camping advice I know:lmao:

Okay what did you feed the squirrel? H e looks like he is going to pass out:rotfl2:

Maybe the squirrel got into your garden...and what exactly have you planted in your "garden"...hmm?

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: That was my 400th post! Only 100 more to go before I am a Veterinarian, uh, I mean a Veteran!

I think he's been to Tinkerbean's house and found the concoction maker.

Maybe I put in too much tequila...:faint:

Kellie - the concoction maker will be ready and waiting!:cool1:

Ok-I'm about to start a "Oh Woe is Me"...so be prepared to skip the message. My feet have been KILLING me for the past 9 mts to 1 yr (yes haven't quite been taking care of myself because I was dealing with the school district regarding ds's services - or lack thereof) now that ds is settled in private placement and a happy little guy (almost as tall as me and he's only 11) I figure I will make an appointment with a podiatrist thinking I have plantar fasciitis. He takes x-ray, puts 'em on the wall and point - "see this, you are on your way to a stress fracture of your heel" WHAT?!

Here the "Woe is Me" part. I have to wear a freakin' walking cast for the next 5-6 weeks!!! "But it's cute shoe season" I told him. "Not for you it isn't" he tells me.:(

This cast weighs about 5 pds. It's like wearing a ski boot. and its HOT!

So here I am trying to load up the RV (which is parked across the street 'cause it won't fit in the driveway
loser.gif
) hobbling back and forth with a laundry basket full of RV crap - I can't wait until the fun begins...;)

Ok I feel better now thanks :lovestruc
