VERY Cute...love the cherry one too!

Off to melt in the heat at a 7 year olds baseball game :faint: What people do for their kids  Hopefully I will slide in later on the sweat pouring off me and flop into a cold shower/tub  Just what mom wants to do while PMS'ing :faint:

I love the hats! Thanks for posting pics!! I love the sparkly thread! Your skills are very impressive!! :goodvibes

Have fun, Sally! You are such a good mom! :thumbsup2

Hey Freaps,
I see we have new members to our family.:cool1: Welcome
I hope all is well.
Yes I am on the 3 day count down:cool1: I may need to go to Tinks house and have few of her frozen drinks on Friday:lmao:
I have read back for the couple of days I missed. Seems we have been busy.
MT I wish we had a little of the snow. It is so hot here that it is making it hard to breath.
But lucky me my fridge died:furious: So now I have to go buy a new one. Drives me nuts. When it rains it pours

Awww...I hate when the appliances burn out! I like them to flicker and give me some warning time so I can budget and comparison shop! Doesn't usually happen, does it? :(

We have decided that Tink must be having a very good time without us. We'll have to wait for her to check in. ;)

It has been snowing all day long, now. We are having snow storm warnings into this evening. I have no idea what that means when it is mid-June! Does that mean the roads will be slick?? :confused3 I can't wait to see what the mountains look like when it clears up and we can see that far.

I shouldn't complain about the snow...when it is hot and dry here, the wind blows which makes the ground drier and seem hotter. It sounds like the rest of country is hot every where. Does anyone live in the mid-west where there is flooding? :worried:

Hi, all! :wizard:

Where's Tinkerbean? :confused3

I didn't acknowledge everybody cheering me on for having my colonoscopy like I should have. :flower3: DH went through his colonoscopy last week and the doctor found 3 small polyps which he removed during the procedure. DH is bad about going to the doctor for checkups. The main reason I think he went through this one was because we had met our insurance deductible (with the knee surgery) and the $850.00 price tag would be paid.

Whatever his reasoning, I am glad he did it. What a relief off both our minds to know that we are colon healthy.

I want to again encourage any of our FREAP friends to go through this procedure if it is recommended to you. It was not uncomfortable and is worth it, no matter who is paying the bill. And thanks to all for celebrating with me at my own good health! :yay:

here I am...

It's been a tought coupla weeks - medication changes (good thing) Strep throat (bad thing) but things are looking up

Kellie, I have been thinking about you soooo much. I want to have you and John over to my house to celebrate the END of your treatments!!!

On the colonoscopy front I can't agree with MTBlue enough. My uncle died of colon cancer at the age of 23 (I never knew him). My mom suffered with ulcerative colitis all of her twenties (they told her she had a nervous stomach) and ended up with an ileostomy by the time she was 37 and well you know the rest, she was only 56 when she died.

Please have your colonoscopies and make Mtblue and me happy;)

Jenkari - I am having a frozen concoction in your honour and Kellie's

;)

Little Lacy is curled up next to me, she has figured out how to get up onto the couch all by herself is the picture of cuteness...

Aww, Tink, sounds like you have been having a rough patch at your house! We were hoping you were putting some wear-and-tear on that frozen drink machine! :rotfl: Now, you will have to play catch up to our imaginations with that machine! :thumbsup2

You guys are all making me take better care of myself and DH by helping me understand procedures and what we need to do....and I greatly appreciate it!

Kellie I was thinking about you alot today while my mom was getting her mammogram done. I so happy that you are done to three days. You inspire me. Tinker I am glad the new furbabie is doing fine and I hope you get well soon. I am exhausted we just got back from a 12 mile bike ride and the second half was straight into the wind and I cried the last 1.5 miles. I think I pulled a muscle in my left thigh:worried: But the exercise is great:) Hope to stop back in later. I might just get me one of those frozen treats this evening yet:rotfl:

There is nothing worse than my Ice cream melted all over the kitchen floor. John was asking what about the meat. I said the heck with the meat I want my ice cream:rotfl2:

Oh Tink sorry you have had a rough time lately.
I am glad your new baby is doig well and giving you lots of love

I hope all is well with mom. I will keep happy trhought for her.
Okay a 12 mile bike ride I cried just reading that.:rotfl2: I hope your thigh is okay. But have a couple of drinks and it will feel great.

Oh Believe me...The Frozen Concoction Machine and I are intimately acquainted....:rotfl:

Things are Ok and looking up. We just bought an RV...Yep, just when the price of gas hits an all time high - there we are buying an RV.

DS did so well when we rented last year - his anxiety level went waaaayyy down - so we thought why not? If we do 2 trip in it to Canada this year it will already have paid for itself. Althought we are having trouble getting it into our steep driveway:laughing:

Look...

How exciting TinkerBean! I have seen a ton of rv's for sale lately so you probably got a better deal. And, just think, if gas gets too high, ya'll can camp in your driveway.:rotfl2: Me? I'm holding out for a vintage Airstream. I want one sooooooo bad. I don't care what shape it's in because we want to do it up to suit ourselves. I just think they are so cool.:hippie: I think my first trip in it may be out to see our Montana buddy(you know who you are:rolleyes1 out there all nice and cool while we are here roasting in out own skin).

Actually a cold front moved through last night with terrible storms and since DH is out of town, guess who had to get out of bed at 3:00 am to monitor the situation?:headache: So we had a nice brisk day of about 85 degrees today.:lmao: It is supposed to get back into the 60's tonight so the sleeping should be better.

Kellie-I feel your fridge pain. You and John do need to go over to TB's and make her whip you up something frosty and cold after your last treatment is behind you.

Does anyone live in the mid-west where there is flooding? :worried:

Its okay here, but its pretty bad just to the north of us. The rivers haven't crested yet. There are several towns that are completely surrounded by water...:(

Nice RV, Tink! :thumbsup2 DH and I have agreed to buy a used pull trailer and drive around, next year, to check out places we might want to retire. More people might be selling their trailers/RVs this year so this might be the best time to buy.

Come on out! :cool1: We can have an RV parked for a week or two on our property (I don't remember what the zoning said exactly) but our place would be a good 'base' for someone wanting to check out the recreational offerings of our area.

I am with you on the ice cream, Kellie, especially anything with cherries in it! :hyper:

OMG! Where do you get the energy for that much exercise??? I would be :faint: after the first 5 minutes. :(

:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

I hope things stay safe where you are. :goodvibes I watched in disbelief as that beautiful, big home fell into a raging river and continued down stream yesterday on the news. That would be heartbreaking!

Its my hubby's fault. He started cycling and I felt like a bum so I got suckered into it. But I like it and it is very addicting once you start. :goodvibes

I am sure you must be right. I have been wanting to get into a walking routine (weather permitting) and I have a Trikke (push scooter) I have never tried but would like to get good at. Bike riding might be easier than the scooter. :scratchin Do you have bike trails? Or, do you ride in traffic? :moped:

I do both. I live out in the country and we ride all the country roads and we also go to our state park. I use a road bike now:goodvibes and it is really fun. Just takes time to get in to shape slow and steady is my motto:rotfl2:

I'll have to keep the "slow and steady" in mind...I am sooo out of shape! :worried:

Our country neighborhood is hilly so I wouldn't be able to handle that right way. We'll have to find something straight away to start out with.
