I was flat-chested in 8th grade, so no one was interested in feeling me up.

However, when I came back after the summer with a pair of 36Ds, there was a lot more interest I had a boy offer me $10 bucks to touch them. I should have taken him up on it. It would have been the easiest $10 ever!

The funny thing about this story is that the boy who offered me the $10 is now a youth minister

I had a friend once thell me that she loves children because they are incapable of manipulation

I was like, "Umm... have you ever actually met any children?"

I work with kids, and I promise you, they lie and manipulate constantly. Its amazing how many parents don't see it.

I once had an 8 year old girl tell me that she didn't know that she wasn't supposed to pour sprite on another kid's head. Umm...okay...

OMG Marna- that reminds me of something my SIL e-mailed me last week.

She said she was doing spelling words with my 6 yr old neice. The word she had to put into a sentence was "Truth"

My niece's sentence was this- "I ALWAYS tell Aunt "Madd" the truth"

I told SIL- well, That is adorable that she thinks of me while doing her homework, however, I am sorry to break it to you, but her sentence is a fib

Well, someone locked the thread. I don't mind them doing that but I think they should explain why. It really wasn't that volatile of a thread. I certainly didn't complain about being called a bad parent. My skin's a heck of a lot thicker than that.

A lot of times they will say the thread did not stay ON topic or that the thread was going "nowhere" and they close it.

While I loved all your comments on that thread, I kept thinking of hearing about my own DD14 getting felt up while her classmates watched--and it was just too icky. I'd want to know she was doing this so I could at least guide her away from the PDA.
(BTW--You couldn't pay me enough to be a middle school teacher. How kids learn anything with all the hormones flying around, I'll never know!)

On another note--used my freebie Pledge multisurface wipe on my silestone counter--it looks great! Best results with a cleanser I've seen on it!

ITA- I hate having arguements like that- OK- you think you are right and I think (know!) I am. Why beat it to death. No one wins.

I do that with DH sometimes- he will go on and on- alright already- we need to agree to disagree- I do not have the strength to go back and forth. It wears me out mentally.

I can't remember who got in to the Chocolate Houseparty but I was over there reading and I found this:
