I won't be around tonight freaps!!! I got free tix to a concert in the city- my brother's friend is in a band- his lead singer works at the club and scored us some tix!

I am sure you all have these bands on your IPods ....go ahead and admit it!

Dimmu Borgir (their stage show I am sure will be crazy! ) and Behemoth!!

oh- and in case you are wondering why you cannot understand what either band is saying- Dimmu is from Norway and Behemoth- they are from Poland.........

........Like I am SURE that is the reason you can't understand them!

Have fun!!! I haven't been to a concert unless the Wiggles or Sesame Street Live count in a looooonnnnngggg time! As for those 2 bands you mentioned - heard of #2 but not #1.....Be sure to take a deep breath in, exhale, deep breath in, exhale

So they do not need to go back in. Next step is going to Dana Farber and doing my treatments. So I am going to need help posting a ticker for my count down till end of treatment.

Oh I am SO SORRY! There's a newbie from here and she asked if there are others and so I thought I'd check and see how you are doing. You know they really are targeting schools and daycares around here really bad. They WANT the purses left unattended, so don't worry about carrying your purse. Really.
Back in December of 2005, I left my breast-pump in the car in the driveway in Southbridge. It kind of looks like a purse. The problem is, I left my wallet in the bag! Before we woke up and found it, they bought lots of gas at the station across from Clarey's on Habersham. OK, that station doesn't have cameras. They are SMART! BUT, BoA did good and fixed everything!
It'll all work out. And eventually, you'll feel safe again...

Hi! haven't seen you around much lately!! Yes, right there in broad daylight in the parking lot of my kids' elementary school. They are very bold around here, as you know. And I thought we were pretty far away from the bad areas of town, just goes to show you...they can find you...Within 10 minutes of stealing my wallet they were hitting gas stations..how much gas can they use? They must have called all their friends! Anyway, apparantly it happens frequently in the school parking lot. I just wonder if I had my purse with me, it the guy I walked RIGHT PAST would have taken it from me. I think I am OK with my having left it in the car..

So I guess my warning to all you ladies is....BE TOTALLY AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS!!! And if you need to pass someone who makes you uncomfortable, let them know that you SEE them, and walk WAAAAYYY around them..who cares if you hurt feelings..it's just not worth it.

You are welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed them, I ate so many the first couple of days, I ended up throwing half of them out..no one else wanted "lemon" cupcakes....

What is a concert?
I have not been to one in so long. But with DD I know I have paid for a few over the last few years.
Right now she is waiting for her Rilo Kiley tickets to come. She just went to a drop kick Murphy show(but that was free is is good friends with the band)
But she is a huge Bono fan.

We had someone kick in the front door of our first home long time ago!

I was at work. It was snowing.. I came home and as I pulled into the driveway- the door looked opened?? You can see someone's foot prints in the snow leading right up to our door- The door had a big dent from where they kicked it in.

Good thing we had an alarm system b/c as soon as the door opens it will start to beep - and then comes the LOUD screaching sound of the alarm! Of course they took off- I had jewlery sitting right on the kitchen counter. They would have taken that and who knows what else!

After that happened- we had the alarm hooked up to the monitering station!

When I saw the door and the footprints I drove back to work (only 2 minutes away) and called the police!

It was so creepy to think someone was in your house-

but HRH I cannot imagine them having all of my personal info- that would freak me out!

We had the same exact thing happen to us about 20 years ago...They kicked the panel in on the front door. Our dogs were in the basement, so they grabbed quickly..they got an old, old VCR, 1/2 of DH's semi old VCR (this was pre handheld camera days, so one part of the VCR was player, one part was a HUGE battery pack that attached to a big camera. very expensive, but really stupid)-yes they only took half of it! They also got a partial roll of stamps and and antique watch of DH's worth about $50..What stupid thugs!! The insurance bought us 2 nice new VCRS, a new roll of stamps, and a new watch for DH..and a nice new solid door. It WAS creepy...we walked in to see our stuff gone, and DH sees his opportunity to say, "OK NOW can we get a gun..." I said yes!

Well- I will start by saying my concert last night was INCREDIBLE!!! .......AWESOME.....GREAT!!

Me and mom went to the Christmas Tree Shop today and I got all kinds of cute things for the yard! I can't wait to get the garden started!

I think I need a few episodes of The Tudors right about now!

It was a nice day here and lots of people were out and about. Guess that is where all the FREAPS are.

Glad you liked the concert. Are your ears ringing? That was the only draw back to going to concerts. The cotten head afterwards.

I have just finished ammending my tax returns. For the 4th time..... . I really wish I had bought that bottle of wine at the store today. I am mailing these off and (hopefully) nothing else will jump up and bite me AGAIN...

Thanks for the .. I am surpisingly not freaking out about this... so we are OK. My DS8 was a little bothered by it..he kept saying, "I'm sorry they stole your purse, Mommy". and he offered to buy me a new one..

Sometimes the little buggers just make the sun shine, don't they? FIrst, gotta say I LOVE the kitty in the hat, when I figure out better how to post pictures I have a picture of a kitty in a babushka and one with him wearing a feather boa and sun glasses, toooo funny. He figures he will sit still as I just keep on tryin' till I get it!

Kellie, thats great news it sounds like a really great place you are going too, sometimes people forget just how much going that extra mile can do for a person. People who really care about what they do don't get enough credit, and are usually the type who don't crave the added kudos, ever notice that? PS: I once got a smack on the bahooky for being "sarcastic", if you can believe it. (I would place a little red butted smiley here if I had one).

Mad, not only do you just crack me up but it's really nice they way the troop can count on you to not only be in their corner but to bring a smile to the mind. Its a great talent.

And to pperfect mom, I believe you are the perfect mom for your kids, and anyone who would go around the nazi in their name is a butt ~*!e or a whole butt, probably both!!! Why people go out of their way to perpetuate evilness is beyond me, tho, has anyone noticed that its always a human thing? I still believe it stems from having a too lenient judicial system, I mean, conjugal visits? In jail weddings? Why do you want these people to breed?

I guess I am just an old fashioned gal, six foot square, a pot to piss in and your golden...

Hope you all are well, lots of news since I've been recooping...I even put my email on hold as I had to work this weekend and had no energy to do anything, thank God for Tylenol Severe Cold or I never would have made it. (Okay, thank him for The Absolute and Seltzer too after work, because I firmly believe it killed off some of the little buggers ) Good night freaps!

Mmmm- got to watch only one episode of the Tudors- but I got my fill! We had to watch the 2nd disc of the 2nd season of Weeds after only one Tudors! Can you tell we are hooked on series'

About my ears- Believe it or not, and I even mentioned this to DH when we are at the concert- It was not obnoxiously loud! It was a refreshing change! It was loud enough, that is for sure- but I know what you mean about "cotton head" I also mentioned that exact thing to my brother's friend, I said usually when I walk out of a concert- my ears are ringing so loud and it feels like I have cotton in my ears!!!

......hey wait a minute- were you sitting behind me listening to my conversations?

By ears are so badly damaged from concerts- I have been subjecting myself to the metal mayhem since I was 12!!! It all started with my 1st KISS concert (at 12) and it has been uphill ever since

I have had tinnitus for about 20 years now- So- I really am not crazy when I say I hear buzzing in my head

I was SO disappointed with my pics from the concert! They came out so bad! Very grainy- This is one of the pics of Behemoth

and I took a really crappy video from my camera also- If I knew my pics would look this bad- I would have just video'd parts of the concert

The most disappointing part of the evening- and I did not know I would be disappointed until the next morning when my brother called to tell me the news- --- I knew they were having an after party upstairs where we were- the Local station WYSP in Philly was doing their broadcast from the concert. Well! I quickly became obsessed with the bass player, Orion, from Behemoth as soon as I watched him play onstage! He was incredible- and looked good too! this is him, but this is NOT one of my pics!

So! Back to the disappointment! We did not stay for the after party- We said our goodbyes to my brother and his friend after the concert- by brother was leaving also- however, needed to use the restroom- when he walked past the bar to the restroom- HELLO!? who was sitting at the bar talking to everyone????.......YES!!! ORION!!! All I had to do was turn my head to the left when we were leaving, and I could have seen him sitting at the bar- and I certainly would have stayed!!!

The concert was at a small club in the city (holds about 2000 people- no one under 21 is allowed upstairs where we were sitting b/c that is where the bars are- so no kids would be bugging the band members if they were just hanging out), - it was not like this huge venue.

These are my sucky pics of Orion- but even his silhoutte looks yummy! He had these freaking pants on and the bottom part of the pants were just hanging- I can't describe them very well- but I am sure none of you (except my wench friend Marna) knows this about me- but I go totally ape %$#@ over long hanging sleeves- or long jackets- so his hanging pants- were driving me crazy too!

and this, I just had to post to show you how cool their clothing was- look at the spikes at the bottom of his pants on the left- I said to DH- "IMAGINE if he did karate on you with the spikes on his legs- you would be MESSED up!" WHY do these things run through my head! and why do I feel the need to say them!!!

Madd- looks like you had an awesome time! I know what you mean about being bummed by pics after a cool event. I have to reread my manual every time before an event to make sure I have all the settings right. I seem to have caught CRS from my new digital camera!!!
