That is true. She is on break from school next week so I need to make sure from the DR all my testing is done then I think we are going to run away.
DH said maybe we should go to FT Myers for Red Sox spring Training.

That would be SO much fun! I have always wanted to see spring training. And perhaps a day trip to pay homage to M-I-C-K-E-Y

We also talked about my treatment after. I will have to do treatments five days a week for at least 30 weeks.

Hey everybody, been under the weather and haven't been on the boards much. Kellie, I am so sorry about this news. Please know that we will all be there for you. I will come cheer you on at the hospital and PROMISE to come hang with you during treatments, I can even do pick up and drop off in the momobile...Wapole is only about a half hour away...How do you feel about Neil Diamond and Leonard Cohen?

Hershey's is closing it's US plants, layering off it's workers, and starting to make it's chocolate in Mexico to lower costs. Yet another company that is taking hard workers jobs and leaving the country

Mr Hershey is probably rolling over in his grave- I do remember on the tour they said, he was ALL about giving to the community- ie- JOBS! Homes for his employees!

No one cares about that stuff anymore It is all about MONEY now.


UGH- I have to get an ultrasound tonight (ovarian cyst)- my appt is for 5pm- and I have to drink 32 ounces of water beforehand- AND HOLD IT!

I have had to do this 2x in the past- it is horrible. And then- you have to lay on the darn table- and they put the cold gel on your belly (AND ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PEE!) and then they start rolling that freaking ball over your stomach!

I am trying to get the water down now without puking! Not sure if I can do it- I have 1 1/2 more bottles to go. Not sure if I can keep it down.

That bites about Hershey's. It's getting harder and harder for me to shop. I try to make socially responsible choices in what I buy(don't snicker, I really do ). I "try" to buy things that are better for the environment, not tested on animals, not made by abused teenaged girls in China(no Nike for me ) and I do really prefer to buy American made products. Not because I'm such a big redneck and don't want to help the global economy, but because I think we need to provide for our own people first. I hate having a trade deficit like you cannot imagine. It makes me so mad to think that we have to import food for goodness sake to a country with such a beautiful, historied tradition of agriculture. Sorry, this just hit me the wrong way today and I had to vent. Guess I'll be hitting my local chocolate store more often(not that I need a reason ).

OMG Madd! You sure know how to lighten things up around here. I do feel sorry for you because I have the weakest bladder on the planet. When I was pregnant and would go in for my visit they always told me to wait so I could pee in a cup to test my blood sugar. I told them "Don't worry. I could pee twenty times in the next 1/2 hour and still be able to work some more out if need be." And that was BEFORE I had kids.
