Yesterday while I was shelving books at my kids' school library, the librarian called me over and showed me the Jane Brett book she recevied in the mail! She had just opened it and of course I had to tell her about how I got it...made no sense to her (about you guys and freaping), but she and I were both thrilled to have it . Jane Brett signed a nice letter explaining why the library was receiving it, named me...and she signed the inside book cover, too. It looks like a really neat book..I wanted to thank all of you guys who worked so hard to get the answer to the question and posted it here!

Awwwwww, someone noticed I was gone! I was just here catching up on everything! I have been gone on a week long RV trip! My hubby, kids, and MIL&FIL....wooooofdaaaaa! We went up to my BIL's in Georgia. My MIL has Alzheimers and right now it is in a fairly early stage, so we're trying to make every holiday as special as possible. They cannot drive that far, so silly me...I decided we should get an RV and travel 10 hours to spend Thanksgiving all together! What the **** was I thinking! No...all joking aside, it wasn't soooo bad. Only a few bad spells, and between my BIL and I we put out a wonderful dinner and the kids had a blast! I was really trying to make some Norman Rockwell kindof moments for everyone...CRAZY but true! I only ended up crying from the stress of it all once! That's pretty good for me! So I just went off to a quiet place and called my Mom...like the big baby that I am! I am certainly glad to be home, but frustrated to be behind on my X-mas decorating! I always get my tree the day after Thanksgiving and spend the weekend climbing up and down from the attic decorating! It's my way off working off all the food I just gobbled down! So now I've got a lot of catching up to do!

However... ...since it is only 3 hours to Orlando, I am considering taking a vacation to recover from my vacation and running up to party with Madd! Talk about freaking jealous! Maybe I can talk my hubby into jumping on the bike for a scoot (as he likes to call it!)

Oh, and when we got home my entire front porch was loaded with mail and packages and boxes! Now THAT was exciting! I can't even begin to list all the freebies, but the two things that stand out are.... ANOTHER sleeping bag from Malboro! I only called in once, but now I have a set! Weird, but AWESOME! And my son and I got a Thank You card from his librarian for the Jan Brett book! She gushed and raved over how thoughtful that was and said she would save it so that he could be the first one to check it out! Then yesterday all the teachers in the school kept stopping my son and thanking him! He now realizes that this freaping thing is kindof cool!

I wanted to share a "freebie" I got today with my fellow freaps. On Black Friday I tried to get an MP3 player at TRU for $9.99, but the line was way too long. Then yesterday I heard about a similar one at Circuit City for the same price. THey didn't have any left online, nor at the store closest to me, but there was one at another nearby store. I drove over today after ordering the MP3 online. I went to pick it up and it was taking them a while. They come back and say they don't have it in stock. I was a little annoyed, but not really surprised. It wasn't a huge deal as I had decided today to go ahead and buy dh a "new" (refurbished) ipod shuffle (he has the old one) and I'm going to give his old one to our oldest. The guy credits my account and gives me back a gift card. I thought he was just giving my credit on a gift card, but I noticed it was for $24. Again, I thought he made a mistake. Then I realized I got a $24 giftcard because of their 24/24 deal. If you go to pick something up at a store, you'll get a $24 giftcard if they can't get it to you in 24 minutes. I totally wasn't expecting it! So, I'm going to use that card along with one for $25 that I'm getting through the reward program at my bank and buying dh an adaptor that lets him listen to his ipod on his car stereo. Awesome!

I'm going to assume it's too late for this, but I was just curious what this was about? I was away from the budget board for a while (darn life gets in the way of my freaping!). I tried doing a search but couldn't find anything.

That would be fun! The only thing for certain I can tell you is- I will be @ POP You will need to track me down. I am PRETTY sure DH and I will be in Epcot on Thursday night- SIL, BIL and the kiddies have the xmas party and we have been before and do not feel like wasting our money on it this time- so we are going to drink around the World Showcase!

Like I said- I will have my green Mickey head on my hand bag-

I am leaving @ 3:30- so I probably won't be on much!

Have a blast Madd! We love to drink the world...or go to PI! Buuuuttttt, we can't go My MIL and FIL now have colds (from the weather in Georgia) so we have nowhere to put the kiddies! I was honestly trying to figure out how to get there! So someone on here mentioned the Nielson Home scan thing - you sign up, they send you a scanner, and you scan all your shopping then download it to them. Anyway, I had a message that we got picked and to call back. I called back and they are sending me a scanner (should have right after the holidays). So hopefully that will be fun and we can earn some extra $$$ or points to redeem for some fun stuff. Anyone else do this? How has it worked, what do you get?

Good morning Freaps! Just wanted to share a deal I found yesterday at Wal-Greens. Their Precision ( I believe that's the brand) Make-up brushes are BOGO. I bought a foundation brush for 9.99 and got a 5-piece travel make-up brush set (reg. 9.99)for free. The foundation brush came with a concealer brush on the opposite end. There are several different brushes/implements that are BOGO-- 9.99 is the upper range. Used the foundation brush this morning and was impressed with the quality.

Hey Freaps!!! Yesterday I got a new deodorant sample from Dove, the taco seasoning mix and some movie passes from Coke Rewards. Unfortunately, I realized that we don't even have AMC movie theaters here so I have to sell them on ebay. . I'm bummed I used most of my points on something we can't even use. One thing I have used a lot is my new Sonicare toothbrush from Buzz. I love that durned thing. I saw it in a Target ad for like $170!!!!!! This is by far the best freebie ever. Also, I went by Lowe's last night to get my free screwdriver and I just picked it up in the tool section and then went through the self-service lane with my coupon-worked like a charm. It will go in DH's stocking. I have another coupon, so I'll have to go back and get one for my dad. It actually looks like a good freebie and cost without coupon was about $4.

UPS just dropped off my items that I ordered on Black Friday!
2 Digital Photo Frames

They shorted me 1 SD card so I called customer service. I have to say I was IMPRESSED with their customer service! She apologized, reshipped the missing item and while I was on the phone with them I was multi-tasking and checking email. I got an email stating that my item was reshipped and I got a 2nd credit saying I was receiving a $4 credit back on my order due to my inconvenience I know $4 isn't alot but I wasn't looking for anything other than the missing item and didn't need it rush shipped because it's for a present for Christmas and their is plenty of time (she is shipping it 2 day!). So I applaud their customer service! Many times it is just the other way and all we hear is the complaining....right Madd
